Whats new from Leipzig

Greetings all. It is I the Fairy Gothmother. I know you do not hear from me too often especially if you are not connected on social media.

So much has been happening since last time. Where to begin. Well I unlocked an achievement. I was asked by a big avant garde high fashion magazine to model and I am sure enough in the printed pages of Germanys TUSH magazine. Its not a porn mag lol. Anyways I at first thought it could not be legit wanting my big ass modeling in such a magazine. The issue I am in features many drags queens from Ru Pauls and the issue I have has Violet Chachki on the cover. I am in a photo series on the goths form the Wave Gotik Treffen. There were only a small handful of us selected. So its quite an honour. I had a fabulous WGT and Gothic Pogo festival. Then I went to London in July and had a blast and met new friends and made new romance. Hes coming to visit me on Halloween for about a week and well sexy af metal goth boy. Yes I am married but doing the poly thing now so thats new too. I went to M'era Luna and graced several photographers and media sites with my looks. I really go all out on my outfits and makeup. I also have friends coming to me to do hair and makeup. When I first got in the scene in Detroit my makeup skills are cringy and so was my style. I look back at my early days and think oh man though I did not have much to work with and limited on funds more than I ever was in life. After my divorce and no more car and job I was not able to do all that much.

So the other new thing I have been doing a year long weight loss program for my insurance to approve my weight loss surgery. Though I do not have problems with my diet and not over eating having PCOS and Hashimotos plus rheumatoid arthritis it makes it hard to lose weight well and I had set backs like injuries that cause me to gain weight since I could not walk at times. Now I am getting in better shape and lost 20 kg or approximately 40 pounds. Though I still have a long ways to go as I started with a weight around 350 libs. 157 kg. I am estimating since I am now used to the metric system. ( it truly is easier to use the metric system lol) Though I completed the year and got approved so now I am starting the appointments to have the surgery done. Will get a date soon. I am anticipating February. I hoped for January but no luck. I just hope to have the surgery, it goes well and I am recovered on time to travel to London in spring around March or April.

I am now writing for a metal goth online magazine. I may get to print sometime. I am thanks to my new friend in London a music journalist now. He is also a music journalist and that includes print publications. He has a masters in journalism. I do not hold such credentials but after he read my personal erotic fiction I sent he suggested I talk to his friend who works for and runs magazines in the metal and goth scene and I did so now I write reviews and will get press passes for concerts and festivals. I am right now doing alot of album reviews. Already got some good feedback on what I have done so far. I already decided on top of art to do some writing and get back into music. I wasted so much potential and my dreams over the years and now I seriously want to break into music. Singing and percussion would be my main thing. I have musical education. I talked to Lindsay Schoolcraft from Cradle of Filth and she would coach me on singing. We are moving into a bigger place before WGT next year so plan having a little home music studio to work on stuff. I want to do something in the genre of gothic black metal. Maybe I will go somewhere with it but even if I can do some local gigs and have fun thats really what matters. I want to make music, play it and perform.

So yeah life has been pretty exciting for me. Planning alot over the next couple years. I will be between Leipzig and London often. I am now a part of the London goth scene. Last time I stayed with the marvelous Parma Ham. If you dont know who that it look it up online. Parma can not easily be described. Parma is living art. I stayed in the posh flat near kensington palace with Parma in July. Parma works at the Serpentine Gallery in Hyde Park and does DJing and modeling for avant garde high fashion. I met Parma at WGT and Gothic Pogo before the past years. Was always a sweet guy and said I reminded him of a friend in London Kiera and well thats true because I met her and we certainly could be sisters. People were quite shocked when we were hanging out at slimes together how similar we look. Shes a bit taller but yeah it was funny. Anyways yeah thats my life update. Leipzig has been good to me and I am looking forward to what the future holds.

I am so happy to hear from you.  Loving the look.

You have come a long way...stayed true to you and you are making it.  It does make me wish I had the means to travel because I would have so taken you up on your offer a while back.

 

Also...Happy Belated Birthday!!!  I didn't get the chance to reach out to you this year so I felt really bad that I missed that, but I hope you had a wonderful day.🎉 🎂🎉
