Shark Week 🦈🦈🦈🦈

I find it interesting that people are appalled at the fact that getting into the water, where sharks are KNOWN to be, they get attacked by a shark.  Then they get upset about the fact that the shark is there, in the water, the only place it can possibly live, but they want that shark to be somewhere else so they can go swimming and hang out in the shark's supermarket.  However, on land, those same people will avoid that KNOWN area of town where "certain activity" takes place because they don't want to do anything to endanger themselves.

Things that make you go hmmm...

Some people move into a neighborhood and act the same way.  Makes me wonder what is wrong with people.

Time for more paperwork.  The Guardian ad Litem finally contacted me today and now I am in paperwork finalization.  The court contacted me and the date has been moved to September 4th at 9am due to a new Proof of Service needing to be filed.  So I guess I had better make sure everything is in the mail by this weekend so I can have my new "Notice of Hearing" paperwork in hand before it is time to appear.

Why is it when a shark accidentally grabs somebody, who willingly entered the shark's home, but it ends up with the person being injured or dead, people go out in mass and hunt down and murder all the sharks they can get hold of, but allow repeat human offenders that deliberately kill people, steal from them, which is robbing them of their livelihood, or violate people viciously to just simply go to jail, sit in a cell, then come back out into society to do it again?

The shark does not have hands to touch an object in order to check out what is in front of it. It can only use it's mouth.  Unfortunately, humans are very fragile.

That I need to be mindful of eating strawberries before work. I discovered this week that I have that weird food combo where I break out in minor (hives?) something. I ate strawberries (in yogurt) for breakfast before work. Seven Hours Later I'm handling shrimp. I don't actually discover the red marks on my wrist that had been resting on the shrimp container until well after work. After a while, I realized shrimp; but not strawberries until the next day.

Not looking forward to it, but I think I may be headed for more rounds of sleepless nights.  I really don't know what happened, but life has gotten rather tedious these past couple of weeks since the kids have been home for summer vacation (which started the last week of June).  It's not anything extreme, but it's like, for some reason the kids are having brain blips and all of the little things are being overlooked or forgotten and then the occasional tantrum (which has to be nipped in the bud in asap fashion).  It's taking more energy and time trying to correct the missed stuff than to just handle it myself and turn everything into a "life lesson" teaching.

It's just that all of this is compounded with Trene's second surgery and upcoming appointments, my pending court date and the kids upcoming annual checkups, back to school shopping and yearbook picture photo shoot.  It's like they went down when I need them the most and they have to relearn all of these lessons all over again.  Really not sure what happened there, but I can't afford to ignore whatever it is they are going through...so I have make sure to maintain open communication.

So, as it stands, we are back to square one and slowly going back up from here.

Why is the dte site not allowing me to sign in after making a profile and everything's set?

Did you make sure all of your login data was entered correctly?  They have multiple layers of security on their site.

Yeah. It's a simple email and password sign in. I'm gonna have to rush home to call during normal hours or try calling either at work (not a good choice) or on the shuttle after work.

DTE just completed a site wide revamp on July 28th.  There is a good chance that some of the system may still be buggy.

It did take a few minutes longer than usual to get my confirmation email. I'll wait a day or two then before calling back.

It's difficult listening to the work crews tearing down the buffer hill that Chrysler destroyed so many neighborhoods just to build.  After 25 years, they have decided to incorporate the JEEP plant, put in an extended parking lot and build a wall between us and them.

Our society has really sunk low when a furniture rental company renting out furniture is considered as valiant as a young boy aiding a senior citizen and her walker up a flight of stone stairs, and a runner aiding her injured competitor across the finish line. 😑

Oh well, Chrysler is feeling like they are doing their bit to help out the citizens in the surrounding area by giving out home improvement grants.  They did that before and felt justified in taking the homes of the people who used said grants.  I suppose to the masterminds behind the money, they may have felt like they paid for the homes so the homes were theirs to take.

You never truly know what's going on behind the scenes where big money can be made.  Investors are able to plan ahead by decades and then just marktime while they wait it out.

Here I was thinking that it was getting ready to rain and turns out that the sun went down at 8:39pm.  I forgot we are going into Fall.  This year went too fast with all the legal and medical/healthcare responsibilities I had (and have) to take care of this year.

I know; I'm used to it going down after 9pm, not before.

I declare if that boy says, "I thought I was doing good" one more time after being told what to do and him doing his own thing...I have no idea what's going to happen to him which will then have me suffering some consequence of my actions.
