CJ totally texted us this girl who Gorilla Glued her hair to her head...I was hoping she didn't glue her eyelashes too.  So now she wants to sue because it didn't mention hair on the bottle.

Sometimes the companies believe that the general public has half a lick of sense...then they find out just how wrong they are.

🤣

And this is why we have warnings all over the place. Because people don't thing. And like seriously? It's glue. It's not suppose to go in hair.

Exactly! I mean come on. I was wondering about her eyelashes myself because they look like they're not going nowhere either.  I truly hope she didn't.

In certain communities, we use Salon Pro hair glue and Bone Hard (and the likes) when getting extensions.  Unfortunately, if you have an amateur put in your extensions, they may not use enough product to hold your "hair" on and it can get ripped off by a vindictive individual or it might fall out once the glue gets warm as it heats us due to heat coming of your head.

She may have wanted to avoid such embarrassment, but ended up putting herself in another one.

Right, and at first I thought it was a mistake like I thought she accidentally picked up the can of spray glue instead of can of hairspray but nope, she knew it was gorilla glue. Smh

Right? Like you knew it was that type of glue, so why use it? Now you've gone viral for the wrong reason.

Actually, Gorilla Glue looks like it would be a substitute to a combination of African Pride, Bone Hard and Glue Pro all combined into one.  But the thing is, the girl would have had to have known she was purchasing something not made for the Salon due to the fact that she would have had to purchase it at a hardware store and/or a supermarket.  And even still, it would not have been with the hair products.  So suing is out of the question because her actions were premeditated.

However, the thing that upsets me is that because of this one girl, stores are going to start locking up Gorilla Glue in display cases or behind the cashier and I will have to start asking someone to unlock it every time I do a build project and run out of it...because now we uneducated people can't be trusted with stuff.

😒

Might as well start stocking up now before that happens. Same with e 6000 plus and all other 'super' glues.

Ironically, things may be slow to come to our area, but when it's something like this, stores move like grease lightning because they fear a copycat out to get some "free" money.  So trust me, they would have pulled Gorilla Glue from the shelves within a couple of hours from the time of the media release.

This now means some places will feel justified in charging a "handling fee" when you request it, some places will up the price and even still, some locations will now not ship it for delivery: in-store purchases only.

The same thing happened with toilet paper, and it's non-toxic/hazardous.

😏

Of course; just because one person had to ruin it for everyone. "Thanks, Diane." (Dashes off to find that youtube clip)

Researching streaming service boxes because I am so thinking about getting rid of cable/dish tv.  What's the point when every station is now streaming.  I'm paying way too much money for a TV service then needing to subscribe to a streaming service just to watch exclusives.  I'm not that much of a mainstreamer to believe I need it all.  I just want to watch my favorite shows and if they are all going to streaming, then why do I need cable?
