What Are You Thinking? (cont'd)

@kat

You wouldn't believe the number of people who ask themselves the exact same questions that you do.  Our society is conditioned to not readily address these types of situations so the person feels they are being irrational for having human feelings and emotions.

Your experience is nothing to be ashamed of, you are just needing the opportunity to utilize services specific to your needs.

Never thought I would be having a conversation on Neoliberalism, but the girl has that as a topic for one of her classes and well...I ended up discussing it.  Hopefully I didn't drown her in over information.

Your "ah ha" moment should be possible.  I've done those types of negotiations before.

I say go for it.

😁👍

Thank you.  I definitely will try tomorrow.  I tried going to hospital and I sat in the lobby, it was full of people who were so sick, like one lady was on hospice and she was probably my age. Another dude was in a neck brace...in the lobby..not even in the hospital hall yet. I just looked around and a lady who was around 60 had a very thin frame but her stomach was distended to what looked like someone 9 months pregnant with twins and I kid you not, a man asked her if she was having pregnancy complications and she explained that,  no her liver and kidneys was why she had that.  I talked to her for a minute and then I just walked out,  went to my car and started crying because these people are actually dying.  I'm fairly healthy and here I am trying to die because I'm depressed and I just couldn't believe myself.  I was so ashamed of me. She and the lady on hospice had been there 6 hours already.  That just made me so sad.

I believe in "Everything happens for a reason".  That was something you needed at that time.

However, where were you?  I'm used to the DMC in Midtown.  I haven't really been to many other Emergency Rooms.

In situations like this, it is best to have someone with you when you go.  I used to go with my mother because she always felt like she was bugging the ER Workers for her being there.

Henry Ford Wyandotte.  It's down the street from me like 2 miles if that.

I know this is kinda messed up but my ex husband and his current wife are done. I was shocked to find out but it made me think maybe I was too hard on myself for us not working out. I think they had similar issues too as far as affection and intimacy, like not sex obviously we created a whole human being together but like there was no deep connection,  no passion, it was he watched his shows and foosball while I carried our child for 10 months and bitched, cried, and vomited the whole time.(I'm bad at pregnant, kudos to him for not pulling a Scott Peterson on my ass.. js)

Our son was worth every day of it and than some.

Same. It seems like she is but divorce is hard regardless,  luckily they are still cool. I haven't reached out to her because I don't really know what to say. I guess I could just say I'm sorry to hear about it. She's a good person and I always respect her for being an amazing stepmother. My son was how I found out but he said everything was amicable. I did check on my ex husband via fb but I didn't tell him I knew I basically asked him how he was overall since the move really. He seemed good surprisingly.
