What Are You Thinking? (cont'd)

This is weird.  I never thought I would be streaming shows, but ROKU TV has changed my perspective on a lot of things.  Not to mention that I can streamline my network viewing for a fraction of what it costs to have DISH and Xfinity.

 

I purchased a ROKU TV for the HomeHouse with no intention of being too involved with it.  However, as the account holder, I manage the subscriptions from my computer (me love computer stuff)...this unintentionally introduced me to the online aspect of the ROKU account and subsequent subscriptions.

 

Now I have a computer setup that I never thought of having for myself.  Duel monitors allow me to do work on my desktop with one monitor while simultaneously streaming shows to watch on the second monitor.

 

I'm sure this is old hat for others, but for me...kicking and screaming my way, inevitably, into the 21st century, it's almost like magic...(even though my brother-in-law showed me this type of monitor setup nearly 20 years ago 😅).

Grrr I have been doing good with my eating habits because I was afraid of weight gain from this IUD and even though it's making my mind feel stable my weight won't go down. I'm basically fasting and eating like OMAD and it's still not coming off. I'm not eating carbs and sugar. I don't even eat at the greasy coney I work at because it's too easy to mess up but still the scale isn't going down yet. I don't want to have this thing removed because mentally I have not felt better in years but I can't afford another pound on my body either 🤔

The thing people have to remember when doing any kind of weight loss is the fact that they didn't put on all the weight overnight and therefore, will not get it off in a shorter timespan.  The body does not want to be in discomfort, so when it feels that its comfort zone is being threatened, a person's body will go into survival mode whether the person wants it to or not.

 

However, once the body is aware that it is not in any danger and commits to a new regiment of healthy eating and exercise habits, the weight will being to come off naturally.  This is where the person has to stay vigilant because the fat cells only deflate, they do not disappear out of the body without medical means.

 

Just hang in there and keep your eyes on the prize...your target weight goal.

My daughter has covid! She's had all three shots. Her bf and his roommate they all got it and now she has it. Prayers and healing vibes are really needed. I'm going to be a nervous wreck. I really pray her symptoms stay mild.

I know your daughter doesn't know me from Adam's housecat, but I have been on her journey growing up since 2012.  I had to calm down when I read your post.  I reached out to my entire family because they know how much I care and feel for you and your little ones.

 

Please keep us informed of all their progress in this matter.  I know it is difficult for you, but you are not alone.  And you make sure to stay in contact.

It's about time this place got a high resolution background.

 

Also I was browsing the Small's facebook page and saw their vaccine mandate post, and much more broadly than that I'm wondering when the public at large will find out that because the vaccines were rushed it was missed that the massive replication of covid protein spikes they cause are toxic to cells, travelling through the circulatory system, causing blood clots and random organ damage, which has caused the deaths and handicapping to be higher than the average vaccine, alongside a lack of awareness of their poor effectiveness, and that the lack of scientifically-valid holistic medicine in treating covid as a result of regulation and lobbying in the medical industry has probably caused a great deal of preventable deaths.  But I could be wrong, just my personal opinion, unsourced in order to be easily ignorable and avoid any possible debate I'm not interested in.

With regard to the "high resolution background", is your access via computer or phone?  Do you have a specific background in mind that is user friendly across all available platforms?

So, I just received an email congratulating me on achieving rank of Mentor in just 38 days.  I'm still not clear what this ranking system is based on when some members have been here for over a decade, but the "Rank" appears to come with the Host's upgrades as part of the Suite.  I suppose it is to encourage forum participation?

 

But whatever it is for, it is clear that someone put a lot of work into it.

How broke I'm gonna be after I get back into town after my trip this weekend. Providing I test negative for Covid. It's for an event that understandably got cancelled last year. Like, I'm so close to my trip I can see it and the test is the one thing that'll stop it all if I test positive. Which I shouldn't. Sure, I could have been asymptomatic. Yes, I could still carry it. Yes, I'm fully vaccinated. It's just the anxiety grating on my nerves with the possible 'What ifs'.

Sorry Tron, that was a compliment about the background.  If I sound rude with anything I am saying it's not intended at all.  I'm five days into an antibiotic-induced hell to treat my stomach infection and ulcers, the misery I feel is all day long, every day, there's a lot of pills left in the bottles, and it's going to take extreme stoicism to keep working.  But I'm taking a high dose of probiotics daily to help balance things out.

No worries, I didn't take it as rude.  Troy mentioned that the forum wasn't functioning well to some extent, but I never really got the information as to what exactly was wrong or what he was referring to.  I thought you may have seen what he was talking about as well.  However, I did find a glitch in the Theme access that makes the mobile settings act wonky.  Unfortunately, that lies with the creator of the Theme.

EDIT: Wasn't sure I could get off of Flagyl because it might cause antibiotic resistant bacteria.  Called the doctor and she told me I could get off of it.  Thank god.

It was weird. I mean I don't think it could have been the pipes although the plumber did come do something to the pipes and I'm next to the utility room. Maybe it was coming from there but it really did sound like someone knocked . It legit scared me.
