How Are You Feeling? (cont'd)

I totally understand that feeling.

There is a sense of accomplishment when you are able to handle something from start to finish.  Yet, at the same time, it's hard to not mimic behaviors from one's upbringing.  So a gesture of Goodwill may turn into an action of annoyance.  That's where you have to put your foot down and draw that line in the sand, establishing boundaries regarding how you want to handle your future.

I get where she's coming from, but it's like 'I didn't ask for your help. I can do that on my own.' Also, during one of these 'pushing the subject' times (that sticks out) with my dad is that he wanted me and the middle sister to read some sort of Christian spiritual book (I had no interest in reading) and it came to him threatening to leave because we weren't reading it. He didn't, but it was still the feeling that I shouldn't be threatened into reading something I have no interest in reading.

I'm feeling okay, surprisingly.  My feet HURT today.  Last night the neuropathy pain was bad and I had to actually take something in order to sleep.  Right now I am hurting from that and just being on my feet up and down all day long.  But... I have to be up early to go out to U of M for eye surgery, so I hope I can sleep tonight

Feels like that nap did me some good.  I was able to finish the day off  with security checks and a package pick up.  Now I just need to ensure I can get up and do it all again tomorrow.

I just recently found out I have arthritis and that messed me up.  But neuropathy compounded with eye surgery, my heart goes out to you.

Feeling good that I got the first wave of the prep work done outside before the rain starts tonight.  It's supposed to rain tomorrow, but I already have my covered workspace ready to go.

Stressing because the car's not holding oil (oil's leaking) and needing that looked at/fixed. Not liking how my sister's now trying to spear head the home project for home decor (had things picked out for the living room, hadn't even thought of the kitchen yet. She's gone off and decided on her own what to get for the kitchen and looked on other sites for living room items.

Feels like I've made more progress on the kitchen cleanup, but for the amount of time I've been working, it seems like there should be more signs of completion.  I'm not complaining...I'll take what I can get.

Same with the painting project (living room, kitchen, and hallway). Progress with all but the hallway to be fully painted and touch up with white paint. Cleaning the kitchen is still in progress.

With so much still to do, I get to the point where I worry about taking breaks or stopping work for the day because all I can think of is how much more work I could have gotten done.  It's a mental vicious cycle because I know breaks are necessary and the work will eventually get done.

Very much true. I know that the hallway will be done, just done in stages. Just like all the cleaning will (hopefully) be done.

Eye surgery was essentially the same as it always is, although the numbing agent wasn't as effective as it should have been.  But Thursday morning I fell in the house, and did a face plant.  Lots of nasty bruises, wrenched knee, smacked my shoulder into the floor... and I'm a mess.  Just call me grace.  On the bright side, I'm in so much pain everywhere else that the neuropathy isn't in the forefront of my mind LOL

Feels like I'm starting the day off already behind the 8 ball.  I worked until 3am this morning and finally turned in around 6:30am.  I get a call around 10:45am saying that today is locker clean out at the boy's school and students are supposed to be there from 10am to 12pm or they will throw everything away that didn't get picked up.  I contacted the school and the administrator agreed to stay there until the boy showed up to clean out his stuff.

Fortunately we were able to make other arrangements, but I really do dislike feeling blindsided by lack of information.  If I had known anything, there is no way in the world I would have worked until this morning.

Insane exasperation. Stayed up for two days. Ocessed over the new video. Finished it a few hours ago.

Fell asleep. Yay.

Woke up 40 mins later.  👎👎💔

Freaking nightmares!! Screw PTSD.

Medicare should cover medical MJ.  10 years and it's the only thing that stops them.  I mean like 90% of the time!

Sore. Took the day yesterday for what seems like a 3 hour trip via walking and bussing to get my car to 'not inconvence' any one for a ride to get my car from the shop. Which is not recommended on a day that got close to 90 degrees. Yes, I did have water. No, I didn't eat before hand; but I did so afterward. Had a few hours break before going up to Eastpointe for a meet up for saber (a la Star Wars) battling. Didn't get home until 4:40 in the morning. Woke once about 1030 then finally at 120pm.

Taking the day to relax.

I feel bad that I got fed up with a lot of stuff.  Things that can be helped but are not.  The things that can't be helped, I don't have a problem with because you either handle it or you don't and if you don't, you suffer the consequences.

I definitely feel that things will get better, but people have to be held accountable for their own actions.

I felt so bad that I had a short fuse a couple days ago.  Turns out I've been suffering from a fever and abdominal discomfort.  I forgot I have a sensitivity to certain ingredients and I have been messed up since Tuesday night.  All I can do is wait for it to finish running its course.  Unfortunately, I have errands to run.
