LadyKay
My husband dose contract work for a company. The company hires him out to to job sites. My husband then invoices the company at the end of the week charging them for the work he dose. Well it seems this week the person who dose the payments is on vacation. So there is no one to write out a check for his pay. We are down to almost nothing. Until he gets paid. Which may not be until Monday or whenever the person gets back from vacation. I am rather upset about this. I told my husband they need to have someone fill in for this person cause they just can't leave people without pay checks! I don't know. I am just very upset about it. TronRP
You definitely have the right to be upset. If he does work for a company, that company is responsible for getting him paid regardless of who is on vacation. That is inefficient. They expect your husband to do his work when contracted for it, then they should expect their employee to compensate the contractor for work done. That's just good business practice. Someone needs to speak to HR...is my opinion on this.

Any VP+ level person can write checks typically if they have to. If its a smaller place then they REALLY have no excuse as any one of the owners or CFOish type can do it. Sounds like total bullshit to me. Trump style excuse to not pay bills. 😫 Sorry you have to go through this. *random hugs*
