Hi everyone :)

Thanks for the welcome.  I know Troy and Bobbi, and go to the gathering on Thursdays.  I've also met SG there, and possibly others whose names I don't recognize on here.  I have regularly attended local science fiction/fantasy conventions, including ConFusion, ConClave, and PenguiCon and may know some of you from there also.

Ask anything you like, and I look forward to getting to know you!

Welcome BadKitty!  I've missed you!  With any luck, I'll run into you at The Gathering or another of our many get-togethers.  It's been WAY too long!

Hi Stu :)

It's been a very long time!  My last convention was PenguiCon 2011, and I was so sick I couldn't participate much.  I DO still have my leather dress and a lot of Expert Kisser ribbons, though LOL

I'm at The Gathering every Thursday.

I actually have one of those job thingies where I work for someone besides myself these days.  (I know - hard to imagine.)  Tuesdays and Thursdays are work days for me, so I'm hard-pressed to get out to The Gathering lately.  Because my schedule is variable, I used to make it more often than not, but we had a mass exodus at work, so I've been helping to take up the slack until we hire more therapists.  Hopefully it will let up enough so that I can come back out.

Oh, yes, you might not know: I went back to school in 2016 and became a licensed massage therapist (LMT).  So being the "guy who gives good back rubs" kinda got taken up a notch or ten - LOL!  I'm working at Elements in Troy, and I'm also on the faculty at my school, Irene's Myomassology Institute in Southfield.  Became a TA before I even graduated and now help run their clinical events.  SO much fun!!!

Anyway, hope to see you again soon!

I know how work goes.  I still babysit the lawyers on a daily basis.  I haven't shoved any out a window lately, but that is subject to change without notice at any time.

Massage... I miss it.  I'm in so much pain all the time, I probably should have one to see if it makes any difference.  I'm a disaster

@BadKitty

Thank you for the introduction.

I used to be a fixture on the wall at The Gatherings until a few months ago when our area got rezoned by Chrysler and certain property demands were being put into place.  So I've missed a lot of get togethers...but we never quite know exactly what the future may bring. :biggrin:

I'm lucky enough to live about 1.5 miles from the location, which comes in handy and makes it much easier to show up!
