It could have been a karmic relationship even, we don't know their past. Very interesting point. *I'm thinking all my relationships were karmic ones.* Edited December 23, 2019 by kat gwen
Troy Spiral (13)
I find the mystical aspects interesting (and I do read about such things and have since forever) but not factual. I am however a big fan of trying to maintain romanticism over cynicism. I'm a cynic most of the time but deep down I'm a romantic. Its just we get so bitter sometimes we push anything potentially good away for fear of getting hurt (again). 😞 gwen, kat and BadKitty 2
Stu
I find that semantics is the biggest problem here. What, exactly, IS a "soul mate"? How do you define "soul"? From my perspective, it's about love. What some think of as "soul mates" are, more accurately, someone you cannot imagine living life without. You may resonate on many different levels (common interests, attitudes, beliefs, etc.) and/or you may differ significantly, which can only make things more interesting for both of you! But you simply feel a need to have them in your life. An urgent, undeniable, visceral need. When that is mutual, then we may use the tag, but the reality is that it's all about love. You know who mine is. kat and BadKitty

Now Twinflames, that's that deep, passionate, fire so hot that the flames of hell are no match for type love. That's I may not see you for years but we will find each other because that's what twin flames are two souls split from one. BadKitty
Honestly, I don't think "soulmates" exist. I don't know if that's due to cynicism or just experience. I do know that there have been people that I feel an instant bond with, and sometimes it's in a friendship sort of way, sometimes it's sexual, and sometimes it's much more. I believe that everyone is compatible with a lot of different people. It's just a matter of investing the time and effort into a relationship that matters. Initial attraction is pointless if both people don't put in the work necessary to keep the spark alive.
fu**edUP@NA
Love= The catagory for those who are involved in prostitution (in which ever degree and form). Id argue: Hypothesis = Direct is a harsher but more rewarding truth. 😕 for my use of "="
Scary Guy
For one to believe in soulmates, one has to first believe in a soul. I agree with Troy and BadKitty. The lucky few find someone they click with and mate for life early on. While I'm still looking for someone I can tolerate for usually the next 3-6 months if things go well (I'd prefer it to go longer, that's just usually how it turns out. I think they might just get bored because I am THAT exciting.) Also this: Edited June 25, 2020 by Scary Guy

'majickally' i.e. scitzophrenically speaking! ya? OK then glad to be a so-called nothing then than be in YOUR corner! nut job you are not the great grand wise pomba that grants 'spiritual knowledge' and karmic wishes. Sounds like a complete failure of a cult leader to me. I mean seriously, how hard is it to fuck that up?
