Trappernicus
Regardless of which major party you may follow and support, there is a obvious decline in the status the USA once held. With open boarders and foreign powers challenges: the country sits at a turning point. What will become of the country that has represent freedom for so many generations? How will future generations look back on us? Can we make a difference? 🦊
Trappernicus
I’m guessing people here are not interested in politics 🦊
Scary Guy
Some are, but I wouldn't say I follow a "major party." This is a two party system, and I vote third. So it's hard to be interested in politics when politics isn't interested in you (at all.)

Scary Guy
Religion should have nothing to do with politics, at least in the US. Not sure why you'd post that. Maybe they do things differently where you're from I guess.
Stu
Agree with Scary; we've seen how theocracy works in other parts of the world. "Freedom" only goes to those who are part of "the failthful." Scary Guy
Class-Punk
Just my personal opinions.. America is in bad shape but a Republican pushback in the mid-terms is likely and could help with reestablishing defense via closing the borders and bolstering police to stop the crazy crime going on right now in major cities. As for the illegal migrants that are already here, I don't think Republicans or Democrats are wise enough to deal with that problem in the most mutually beneficial way. With the national debt, and another looming Great Depression, I think Austrian/Chicago economics combined with feasible UBI is the most logical answer to that, and most likely only going to come from Libertarians establishing mainstream popularity which is very unlikely. I've been reading a lot of non-fiction, and am pretty focused on the past, which I suppose helps me rebel against how bad the present is due to poor popular values either in politics or in life. But Larry Elder is a leading black conservative thinker with good values, if he manages to become governor of California and enact Libertarian-leaning policy based partially on his admiration of Thomas Sowell, it could set an uplifting example of better policy and be really good for the country as a whole.
