Not to diminish that other individua's thread with the similar title at all but there didn't seem to be a well suited thread for this so. Here i will put stuff I done out on the road. Oddly while I'm on the highway headed home for my first week off of the year...

Them are so damn complex they thought they would require a rep from the company that fabricates the parts and a superintendent from the GC's company out to give one of us the run down on it, but these guys didn't know that me and the bossman both have worked on, and supervised construction on Ulta stores for 10 years prior, and besides... "We don't have problems, We have solutions" LOL

As a residential builder, I understand all of the "behind the scenes" work and deadlines that go into a project, but are basically overlooked by the general public.  I appreciate seeing the dedication to one's craft and skills.

😁👍

Yes.  I'm a residential builder by trade.  Although these days, I'm more of an on call Home Care Service Provider.  During my spare time, I do build projects and lawncare on the properties I manage.

I just saw your comment on my gallery image that I posted in the "Cosplay" thread.

Yes, I can reset your original account so you can log into it and if you want, I can merge it with the new one you created so you don't lose anything.

Great to see you on the board again.

Awesome, you can merge two accounts together?! Technology never ceases to amaze me nowadays lol. As long as the username remains "WhiteLines" I'm all for it. I have gone thru a complete and total loss of identity more than once over the last decade. Old names are meant to be buried in the past.

  • 2 weeks later...

It's all T-totally chaos tonight, a delivery broke down and was stranded 6 hrs away in Virginia. Now tonight its pouring down the rain, we have 4 semi trucks waiting to be unloaded and two days worth of work that we have to cram all into tonight and be done come sun up. Challenge... not an option whether we accept or dont accept, aint got that choice. It's all gotta get done, git 'r done.

You Got This

That's the thing about the Juan & Stefan Primetime Comedy Showcase... Sometimes it's a comedy, sometimes it's a tragedy... but by the end of the episode everything gets done 👍 🤘

You are at the state that Captain Sig Hanson calls "Worker Drones".  He likes his men in that state because they function enough to do what they are told and no backtalk.

😏

DeWalt is my favorite brand!  But I never trusted anything battery powered until I actually had to purchase one (the store was transitioning away from corded power tools).  I've been hooked ever since. 😁

Some years ago after all my Makita 18 volt set-up was stolen i swapped to all dewalt 20v tools. After we delivered our fatal coup de grâce to Total Store Services... ☠️ a lot changed. I have a mixed bag of brands anymore but one thing is I finally gave in to my curiosity and bought a Milwaukee 18v Fuel Impact Driver, and it is the most favorite tool Ive ever held in m hand. There's bad blood between me and Dewalt's impact drivers. Dewalts most high priced 3 speed impact drivers have a weak point, ive broken several

There's a battery powered Impact Driver?!? 👀

I only have the one DeWalt 20V Power Drill.  The rest are sill plug-ins or compressor powered.

We have a running joke that I should be a tool tester because I can find the weak point in just about any tool or bit you give me.

I broke every DeWalt toward the bottom of the handgrip where the battery is attached. I still have plenty of DeWalt tools and 𝕭𝖔𝖘𝖘𝖒𝖆𝖓 runs DeWalt now too. But I did finally give in to my curiosity to try Milwaukee's Fuel 18 volt 3-speed Impact driver and it was instantly my most favorite power tool I've e ever had. I already loved Milwaukee's Tape measures and utility knives, i figured why not their cordless tools

Maybe I'll branch out some more with the power tools.  They are rather convenient  It's just hard when you're stuck in your ways. :cool

You know DeWalt, Milwaukee, and Makita all also have a compact line of power tools that run on a smaller 12 volt lithium ion battery system, may be somethin worth ya checkin out

I'll think about it.

When you're as old as I am, you become familiar with seeing all those external construction grade extension cords strewed about the worksite...hard habit to break...🤣
