City club is having a night of industrial music on the 10th featuring 

MVTANT
Semantix
Comfort Cure
Kenjiro
Marc Church 

 

Normal club hours 

9pm to 3am

I miss when it was 10-4:30.  These new "normal" hours will never be normal to me :(

Many times, I was the only one still dancing on the floor from 4 to 4:30am.  The lights would be up, but I didn't care.  If the music was still going, I danced until the end.

So, the reason City Club gets to go later is that there used to be a hotel AND a restaurant in the same building.  Well now the hotel is apartments only and I'm not sure if the restaurant is closed down due to health code violations (which I wouldn't be surprised at) or if it's operational and just closes.  So neither of those conditions are met anymore.  There was also a short time that City used to sell hot dogs IN the club because of some other rule.

There is also that grant money that Higgins has squandered for years and done nothing with except maybe fix up some of his other properties.

 The restaurant that's at the corner of the building is open sometimes but I don't think all the time

Someone should probably notify the health department then.

But anyway, I forgot to mention the part where the restaurant has to be 24 hours and open when the club closes so all the drunks have somewhere to go.
