Same with having transparency to the average member for board costs. I'm not surprised that Troy refused, and it may have been your feeling of him paying personal bills. I donated once as well.

I too would love to see this.

Donating in the past was good though because Troy (and his mother) needed the money.  Though he was always buying new toys I'm almost positive those were separate donations.

 

AFAIK @TronRP has been funding the entire site herself for years now.  I feel bad for not donating more but now that Troy is gone I'll probably start (I'd have done it before, but "almost positive" isn't "100% sure.") She's also an absolute sweetheart for picking up a number of meals for myself and other members without even asking.  If anyone deserves donations it's her because she'd actually use them for the good of the community.

Also I was serious about nominating Stu for an emissary position.  He's a promotional beast.

Also we used to have a street team in general.  Whatever happened to that?  We need to make that a thing again.
