Yes, then, you have been doing attached images which are limited to a certain number attachments and will run out of space and also have an attachment size limit.  The links I provided should help for anyone using a mobile device to upload an image for this board settings.

I honestly wondered that myself, but it is a function of the actual editor program itself and I have no idea who created it.  But I suppose it made sense to them to do it that way at the time.
