ALL OF IT!

Legalities, terms, definitions,

Mostly trying to define the different types......and MEMORIZE them....

Also re: Annuities, Health and accident, and disability......I mean I know what they are, but to define them and memorize the state crap is gonna be a task.

FOR EXAMPLE:

Which of the following is correct?

A: Disability income ins reimburses the disabled insured for hospital care and related services

B: Medical Expences insurance provides periodic payments to the insured when he is unable to work due to sickness and injury

C: Medicare supplement can be purchased by anyone at anytime

D: Medicare does not cover long term care outside the hospital

I would choose D

BUT most of the questions are tricky and strange like that.

The more I read, the more I get confused!

I have my P&C, but that was easy since I had 4 years experience under my belt on that.

BLAH! :nut

Actually, I believe A is correct. Disability income insurance reimburses the disabled insured on income they would have earned if they were not disabled, up to the covered amount. Medicare kicks in and covers some long term care expenses only after the assets of the insured are spent. Sometimes this is referred to as spending down assets.

The test isn't that bad really...keep in mind you only have to get what 70%. I thought the P&C test was much more difficult. As long as you study every day...and get a good night's sleep before the test, you should be fine. If you have any specific questions, its been a while, (4 years), but I'm happy to help. PM me.

lol...yeah...its not as glamorous as it sounds. I'm an institutional bond broker. I was a retail stockbroker for a couple of years before that. My dad worked for Allstate for 25 years, and I got a pretty good background in the insurance business and sales from him. I worked for him as my first sales job after I realized I didn't like being a book keeper. I have my series 7 (general securities, ie. stocks, bonds) license. Amazingly, I have maybe 3 college credits. Instead of going to class I would skip with my friends and talk about the occult, astral physics and quantum mechanics. One of those guys now works for NASA. PM me Dyno...do you remember Joel?

Now I sell fixed income investments to institutional type accounts. Like cities, banks, hospitals, universities, that type of thing. I don't do any investing for people...only with institutions. There is a lot less handholding on this side of the business, as it usually is a more sophisticated investor.

lol...boring stuff, right? =)

i struggle all the time i stay on the grind and i have nothing but debt to show so I keep trying harder and get more debt seems like every job i go through I quite couse my poor ass can only take so much of getting fucked by my employers

i do have my faults too

i don't wish for shit. I ask to learn. office jobs make me go nuts plus i get all soft and smushy around the middle. I really need to make alot of money for my famlies sake. I figured if I invested a couple years in a trade I would be trumped tight. but since I don't do coke i can't work with that crew.

If you need help PM me. What company are you with? What company did you take the class with, I can recommend my instructor. I also used to tutor people in H.S. so if you need help just bring your books with you to Mephisto's on Weds or something.

WOW that was a mouthful!

I currently have a P&C license....been selling for 6 years.....

I moved from NXtixnwXde to XllstXte, and I am working for an exclusive who wants to retire, and hand it off....but I need the Life Accident and Health to be qualified. (Even though we don't even sell Health or Accident....)

I am studying the Life Accident & Health.

I eventually plan on looking into the Securities section soon, but not for a little while.

I do not have a said "Degree"...and I take the test on 8/5.....

HOPEFULLY I have retained this information....... :nut

Yup! I like you! In fact I luz you! :wink

is that last part something i should take personel. love is a strong word.

your e mail doesn't work?

I would prefer to assume you mean that in a more generalized sense as I can be prone to unhealthy obssesion. you seem quite beutifull and hard working. willing to listen, and respond in kind. I will spend alot of time day dreaming about the posabilities, I'm sure.

Whats your favorite color?

I looked at that link under your signiture, from what I see there I was right you are cool.

this thread should be kept on a professional level. easily giving disguised purpose to appearent attempts at sociolization. I'm generaly shy so I feel comfortable more on a helping friend level. almost an aquantince.

what kind of cigerets do you smoke?

for some reason I can't seem to guess by looking at your picture.

I tend to study peoples feelings, for you to say "i love you" interests me in a great degree. If I understood more about you I could figure out what you want. I would offend you if I were to profess that you don't know what you want.

happy, happy happycause shit I don't know you right.

but uh, it would be nice to know if you would prefer me to take such an interest in other people besides you. or if that not the case then I'll invite you to the secret meeting /party and introduce you to my friend who does kung-fu.

In any case please elaborate on what would motivate such thoughts on your part regarding that particular word/feeling.

:cheerful :blushing
