Kit Kat P
in the cool night air a summer's breeze blows deep in the woods a wolf cries a single long howl as the town tucks itself into their beds someone stands alone on a hill the wind softly rustles the grass his thougths are so different from the ordinary as to be heard by any paserby he is as different from run-of-the-mill, as his thoughts ask him "how's your day" there he'll sit thinking long and hard and in turn his answer is a honest as the day is long he stands at 6'4' his brown locks are kept trimmed to the bottom of his shoulder blades his eyes are aged w/ sadness and an intense brown he has a jester grin covering his face, softly implying that he's knows something you don't there are intricate tattoos starting at his wrist and circling themselves up all of his apperance can't begin to prepare you for his personality for truly his age is as old as the woods his quick jump at merriment comes as swift as the dive to depression for his heart is fragile and protected by stone walls his love of life is stalled by the anger and fear that love has dealt his never quick w/ answers or advice but is always there for a friend of his he settles himself into a comfortable sitting position the night moves in around him and welcomes it's friend he's always happy to see him whether it is on the hill, in the woods or on the water softly the crickets sing to him and birds whisper their good-nights slowy the nocturnal creatures come to life and one of each kind pass by the man each is happy to see him back on the hill the wolf feels the peace surrounding the man pull at the electricity writhing in the air he recongnizes the man as his life-long friend as the wolf slwly walks over, the nocturnal animals finish their greetings and leave to run their errands the wolf is the leader of the pack 4 ft tall and a shimmering silver coat the white of his teeth flash as he snaps at the wind tugging on his hair his tail is proud and a scar razors across his ear the mark of trying to save his soul-mate's life he too knows of the pain dwelling w/in th man his body is lean, bu not w/ hunger every movement details the rippling of muscles and the anger in his fights will always be reminiscent of his pledge for revenge the wolf settles himslf easily next to the man each acknowledges the other w/o word or action both of them know that it will be a long night taunt w/ anticipation of the unknown and expentant of nothing the two will be together util one of them passes on the man often pulls out a book of blank pages as he begins to draw something is moves w/in the air currents the wolf will silently tell him where to shade and will whisper encouragement for the art is difficult and precise and while is something extrodinary to behold the viewer can only guess at the implications they grew to know each other when both would have been considered young the young man hepled to save the wolf's life and worked endless hours to save the young she-wolf each watched the othere progress through the world with different hurts to heal and long nights toghether they hunted togeth and protected each other though they lived in two differ worlds they grew to know more about each othere that could the others of their species both had lost and loved and held endlesss and intermixed sorrow and hatred they continued about thei days and mended in the light of stars someday soon the change that they will not speak of will come and when it does they are prepared tonight they sit and plan their battle againt an unknown enemy comforted solely by the company of each other these two have journyed both near and far and each has lived in the other's world a compassion for them has sprung up among both species an unspoken knowledge passes that somehow these two are different than all others they have traveled on boats to far away lands and walked many a day to see what thier life held for them tonite is a journey for their souls
