wow... hmmm not sure. not terribly impressed with any music i hear lately. here are a few i like-tho i don't necessarily think that they are "great" or the best by any standards.

clocks- coldplay... this one has been one of my favorites this year

drop it like it's hot- snoop dogg .... yes i really like this one and no i don't think it is that great in general. just love the snoop dogg sometimes.

Greater Wrong of the Right, Phee? That's 17 bucks I'll never get back.. Wish I would have downloaded some of those songs before I wasted my money on that album.

Anyway, just my personal opinion..

song - Exit (Diseased World) - Velvet Acid Christ

album - N/A... .... Nothing impressed me this year. Aside from VAC's Between the Eyes compilations.

2004 saw the re-release of the 3 earliest OMD cd's. Now, OMD got cheesy top 40 in the mid 80's ut these 3 early albums are expirimental synthpop and are among the best synthpop albums ever made, especially 'Architecture and Morality'.
