Fierce Critter
They mostly dig the graves with backhoes now. A little shovel work involved in re-seating the grave dirt, but not digging a full 6-foot deep hole. You'd probably be mowing lawns, weeding, picking up trash, that sort of thing. Marblez
My family has a tradition when someone dies. Right after the casket/vault is placed in the ground, They (mostly the men) actually shovel the dirt in as a group, all of it. The guys that are employed by the cemetary look on in amazement. If the cemetery will not provide shovels, we'll bring our own. It is actually a deal breaker when choosing a cemetery, some have rules for union issues. "Let us bury our own dead or we go somewhere else."
Homicidalheathen
I wish I could find a job working outside. Any job in nature would suit me fine. I think it is perfect and good luck.

I like that very much. much respect for that action has been earned. hope I did not say something you consider wrong
Scary Guy
when I was in 8th grade we took tests to see what jobs we'd be best suited for when we got older. No I got Engeneer (which was stupid cause I suck at math), but the girl I liked got Grave Digger.
LadyWindstone
I actually did a search on my last name and found out that I may be related to someone in Pensylvania that owns a funeral home. hehe. I just thought that was funny.
