Fierce Critter
I mentioned in brief (am I EVER brief?) a jerkoff I dealt with on eBay lately. A self-important idiot who totally disregarded all my auction requirements and then lied to eBay about it. I left the idiot negative feedback, which is rare for me. And like a child who got his hand slapped, he responds to me through eBay's mail system with this today: "Because of your negative feedback and refusing to complete the sell - I will advise many potential buyers to be careful." Now, my feedback is 727 with 4 negatives in 6 years, 99.5% positive. And all 4 were total idiots like this one with too much time on their hands. Now he's got all of 70 feedback, and my negative gives him only 95% positive. So I'm HARDLY worried about any of his asshole friends who he might "warn" me against. Ooh - I'm scared. NOT. Anyway, I was in no mood for this tonight, and in a rare loss of composure, whipped an e-mail back at him. My only bow to tact was to go back before I sent it and replace any utterances of "motherfucker", "jerkoff", "asshole", "prick" and the like with "Fool", "idiot" and "jerk". I must admit - this felt good. My e-mail in response: "You are a lying, twisting fool and YOU KNOW IT. I told you I was reluctant to sell to you because of your REFUSAL to abide by my CLEAR guidelines. And your words - YOUR WORDS - were "it's just as well". THAT, SIR, IS AN AGREEMENT NOT TO COMPLETE THE TRANSACTION. And then complaining because I wouldn't ship for 5 days? IT WAS FOURTH OF JULY WEEKEND!!!! And my auction details CLEARLY state that I ship ONE DAY a week and that is determined by MANY factors - YOU ARE THE ONLY PERSON WHO HAS EVER GIVEN ME GRIEF OVER THIS. You selfish, self-important jerk. YOU are the one who handles business in a VERY fishy manner - and I'm NOT the only person who has recognized this, judging by your own feedback. Selling to you would have been a stupid gamble. Refusing insurance? Refusing it when you've already PAID for it? Refusing it when you've already paid for it and I've offered to REFUND your money?!?!?! And then admitting that if the item is "lost" or "broken" in shipping, you'll just cancel your payment? WHAT KIND OF IDIOT DO YOU THINK I AM?!?!? DON'T INSULT MY INTELLIGENCE WITH YOUR LYING. How many times have you pulled that scam, huh? Gotten an expensive item that you refused to pay insurance for, and then canceled your payment saying, "oh, it must have gotten lost in the mail - your fault, your problem - la di da." You are nothing more than a spoiled, selfish, self-important blowhard and you can STOP TRYING TO FOOL ME. I'm not falling for it. If you send me ANYMORE e-mails, either privately or through eBay - I will contact everyone in my power and have you investigated for HARASSEMENT. GO AWAY AND LEAVE ME ALONE. I don't give a damn about your life - you obviously, OBVIOUSLY have WAY too much time on your hands. Go waste it on someone who cares. Walk into any brick and mortar business, try to do things they way you tried to with me and see if they don't LAUGH YOU right out the door. "Piss-poor merchant"??? Try obscenely assinine & moronically clueless buyer. GO AWAY AND LEAVE ME ALONE, YOU LYING, SELF-IMPORTANT FOOL."
Shade Everdark
That's telling him--and then some. I only wish I'd had the moxie to say that to my last mechanic.
Lilith
Sometimes Fc this happens, i just had a guy try to scam me out of about $20 more then he actually paid me for an item becasue he could smell ciggerette smoke on the freaking cord that pluggs in to guess what the freaking ciggerettee lighter, mind you the whole thing works properly he just does not like the way it smells. Who the hell would sniff the cord to a radar dector? I dont even know how anything could smell "so bad" after it was used two times, has been cleaned and stored for over a month or more. some people are just annoying and overly picky and ya have to just tell them how it is. You did good if ya ask me and even though you see your self as being irrational or what have you he deserved it and your response was not really that bad. lilith
Brenda Starrr
I've only had one moron buy something, then tell me that she wants me to ship first class when I clearly state "Priority Mail Only." I emailed her back and informed her that I require shipping, and that if I have to purchase a mailer (which I did), she is required to pay for it. It came out even. Stupid girl. Fierce Critter
Ordinarily, I will swallow my pride & keep things completely civil & tactful, to the point of fuming and shaking at my own unexpressed rancor. But this guy just pushed me too far at the wrong time. Not like he can do anything about it anyway. Already left me negative feedback. You know, all my negatives are from people like this? The first one was from a guy whose e-mails were so angry and ugly that I was almost in tears over it. And it was a simple mix-up in shipping. I even gave him a refund and he fumed and railed against me over that - when he didn't realize the money was in his PAYPAL account, NOT his BANK account. When I pointed that out to him, I never heard from him again. Then there was the negative I got due to my reciprocal feedback policy. To protect myself against people like the jerk I just described, I only leave feedback for customers who have already left it for me. This makes them behave and not leave me negatives for baseless BS. It has worked like a charm - up until idiot #2. And yes, I repaid his negative in kind. And the thing is - he had NO problems with the item or the transaction except that I didn't leave feedback first! WHATEVER! The 3rd one was for me as a buyer, actually. That one was due to miscommunication over an item we ended up not paying for or receiving. And even that one - we tried to e-mail the guy about circumstances and he NEVER REPLIED. That is, until he left negative for me. Thankfully, I've developed a pretty thick skin over this feedback BS. I have a good enough reputation and feedback score that the occasional idiot like this doesn't hurt me any. Man, I admit, it felt good to type and actually send that. Thought I felt much better when I included the words jerkoff, asshole, motherfucker & prick.
