I am going to lose 25 pounds

Recommended Posts

I would love to put on about 10/15 lbs but being that I have such a high metabolism and I can eat like a horse and not gain barely a pound plus I believe I'm underweight for my height. I hate being sooo damn lanky!

Actually I was thinking of starting to pump some iron....and come back bigger and stronger.

If all else fails I will do roids..

I really dont recommend that. I had a friend who had them when she was pregnant.

They were thrombosed which means she had these big pusballs on her ass

and every time she sat down it was painful

and Prep H really didnt do the trick

so she had to sit on this weird pillow at work

and take sitz baths which is basically sitting on a toilet while water swirls around your ass

BTW how are hemorrhoids going to make you bigger anyway????

But, hey, to each his own.

Come to think of it, I asked her if there was any good that came of it, and she said she was a much stronger person after the ordeal.

Good luck with your hemorrhoids man.

I'm alraedy down 25# in three weeks.  Another ten, then I'll start my full workout regimen (currently just walking & biking).  30# more by the end of the year, and I'll be a ripped muthafucka again.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

good for you, bud.

Yeah, the easy stuff is what I've lost so far, plus, because of the existing workout regimen, I'm looking at increased muscle mass too. But I've cut beer, soda, and all things fast food out of my diet. That's the big difference thus far. I'm Still down 25#, but now I have to "really work" at dropping weight. Damn my muscular legs...LOL

I am on a diet.  I think maybe I am just too fat to find a decent lover, I hope it helps.  I cannot get younger so....I'll try skinnier ha.

Stop it, you have got to be one of the tiniest ladies i know, you go on a diet and you will waste away. You are by far not at all over weight in any way possiable.

on a side note with out cloths on i am down to 129, i have never wieghed this little in my whole entire life. It is actually kinda scary, i have not done a damn thing on purpose to loose any weight and i just keep loosing it. I am at a point i almost wonder if there is not anything wrong with me health wise, or can stress really make me loose 21 lbs with no effort? When i started Dgn on 8-9-2005 i weighed 150 now 9-10-05 i weigh 129. I just dont know, but the same as it wuold bother most people to gain a few Lbs it bothers me when i loose more then 10 wehn i have done nothing to make it happen. I know i should just be happy and enjoy it but i just worry something is going wrong on the inside of me, i know go to the Doc, i plan too once my helth insurance kicks in, i think i might have a month or so untill that happens. Maybe i worry to much?

okay thats all

boring self-blather:

Month of semi-dieting and 6# lost. It is hard to keep up the stupid journal and write down everything I eat all day...but it sure has made me realize how I put on the weight in the first place! I've always been a grazer, which is not so bad...but when your grazing becomes 6 or so full meals it is a baaaaad thing. Smaller portions are becoming habit so I am happy about this.

I diet all week and overdo things one day on weekends - (it's difficult when I like to go out for dinner/friends like to dine out frequently.) Good thing sushi is so good for you, I can always default and get friends to go to the sushi bar where there is lots of healthy items. Starting a new workout class this week...which should help things.

*sigh* when I feel like a # or so a week isn't much...I pick up a pound of butter at the grocery and think to myself that I am not carrying 8 if these around anymore. =)

You are the shit TomCat! Cutting out pop, beer, and fast food is hard to do. Good luck with your workout regimen.

Losing 21 pounds in a month is pretty drastic. It's recommended to lose 2-3 lbs a week.

That said, stress can take the pounds off. I lost 60 lbs last year with the all-natural ultra-stress diet.

No expensive pills to take!

No strenuous excercise!

Just add pure unadulterated stress and watch youself get down to a thinner you in no time!

If this continues, you should try to up your untake and see if there's something you can do to ease your stress, like meditation or walking.

Sorry if I sound cliche'

Its great to get in shape, but there's nothing exciting about losing control of your metabolism due to stress, whether you're gaining OR losing weight.

Hope whatever's causing it eases up soon.

Now...I could honestly not give a damn about my actual weight.

BUT...I have a huge problem when I creep up 3 sizes too big because of illness. I'm eating Weight Watchers program and it's very cool and easy. When you can not workout much thenwhat's left? Lock myself in my room? I just want to get back to my under 200 state cuz I don't lookk this heavy but I sure thehell see & feel it.

I'm trying several things so we'll have to see :woot:

I'm taking Leptopril and diung Weight watchers. It's working pretty well, I've been dropping 3-5 lbs a week for the last month. I need to get an exercise routine ironed out soon.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Is that so...I looked into that but doesn't it have caffiene? I had to choose a stimulant free pill to try so I got Ab-Gone. =) Let's hope

actually it depends on your diet, I have lost 12 pounds in two weeks and I keep losing......If people eat alot more protein based stuff and stop with all the carb bs (no I am not an atkins freak), you will see alot more changes if you make small changes. I am a big guy, I used to be a power lifter and then after highschool I became a computer geek, and gained like another person......basicly one lillith lol. But if you eat like 5 times a day, cut your portions by half you will see a huge difference...but there comes a point were we all hit a plateau, that means you have to change your diet some. but our weight fluxes all the time, you just don't know it as much.....take me for the other day, I weighed my self, then I went number one (sick I know but bear with me) i weighed myself and I was a pound lighter. Just take your time and you will get the results you want

It also depends on your frame and how much you have to lose. Men always seem to lose weight more quickly than women do because women naturally have more body fat/cushion. I'm a small woman who doesn't need to lose much weight. But, it takes me FOREVER to just lose a few pounds. I'm looking to lose about 10-15 pounds right now, and I know it will take a while.

Hun have you seen me? I got enough cushion for this whole forum lol. heres some things that can help

Cut out pop/coffee

Severly cut your starches

Eat alot of protein

Must of them pills are fake, you can read any mens fitness or any other health mag and it will blow them out of the water. Just changing your food habits and exercising helps more than ppl relize. I am in martial arts and I avg and thats 3 days aweek, and I also have a heavy bag I use. Stuff like that helps alot, but I won't say it's for everyone cause ppl's body's are different. But stay away from ephedra stuff, to many complications with that bs.

I'm stuck! I keep losing and gaining back the same 3 pounds. My doc is yelling at me because my cholesterol is creeping up again. Back to SouthBeach phase 1 I go.

Maintaining is hard enough but whittling off these last few pounds he wants off is tough. I really have to get some more exercise.

I suck at losing. Actually, I suck at willpower. I have a very hard time saying no to food and an easy time saying no to exercise!

Bishop will be going full time at the place he is contracted at on Dec.2nd. Part of the benifits pkg is $500 towards a gym membership. So we are all going to sign up.

Then at the start of the new year I might try Weight Watchers.

I have been doing weight watchers religously for a month and have lost not an ounce. I think my health problems are just making stuff stick. The scary thing is: if I wern't dieting, I'd be gaining Yikes!

It's a bummer though. I'm always hungry and never get to eat anything I want and I'm not seeing any results... Anybody have an alternate, pretty severe diet that is balanced? (I don't do well on Atkins or South Beach)

 Once again you & I are in the same boat.

Weight Watchers PLUS 30 to 60 minutes of exercise 6 days a week is the one and only way. I'll be hitting that BIG time once my healing is done.

I can't have sex for 6 FKN WEEKS! :tear :tear :tear
