I would also love to lose 25 but I think 10 or 15 is more realistic for me!I drank pop hardcore for 19 years and since I gave it up I noticed at least a five pound weight loss!Pop is evil!

Very true, but think of the alternative. I've gotten no sleep tonight, so to keep my wait down I'll be drinking Diet Mountain Dew!

FYI: In a blind taste test between a glass of urine and a glass of diet mountain dew, urine was preferred by a whopping 2 to 1.

Long live regular pop!

My hubby's uncle just switched from Reg pepsi to Diet dew and for the first time in like 25 years he finally made it below 200 lbs. So maybe just switiching to diet might help.

Also I just watched show where a lady lost 38 lbs in 3 months just with the proper diet and excercise. This lady did eat some plain food though boiled chicken with no seasoning plain veggies etc..... maybe spice the food up a bit leave out the unhealthy parts but give it some flavor and it is possiable.

Also when i was 17 i went from 175 lbs to 135lbs in 3 months buy walking briskly for a mile every day, rain or shine.

I wish ya all good luck it can and will happen just keep going.

Against my doctors advise, I am going to lose wieght too. Not really on purpose, but this diet and excersize program is kicking my ass. It is all just too much I want to feel light and not sore again. I hate feeling heavy and getting sick from trying to keep my wieght up as much as he wants and my muscle mass. I get sore and my knees hurt for working out too much. My shoulder partially dislocated, so did my hip....I gotta take it easy.

We'll see about that.  I'm hiding in your pantry right now.  When you least expect it, you'll get an intense craving for me.  You know you can never eat just one...

I cant deny you cheezits. Your faux cheddar goodness calls me whenever I least expect it. MUST EAT AAAAAAGGGGHH

Oh, that was good!

(Wow we have some weight conscious guys on here. Are there a bunch of body image threads or is time for me to take the plunge--Embarrassing admission-a friend of mine said "You've really lost weight. What the hell's going on with you?" and I smiled. I'm such a fucking girl sometimes. ) :fear

I need to drop around 25-30 as well...then I'll be at optimum svelte-ness. Any more than that and friends start telling me my face is drawn/sunken.

I renewed my health-club membership and will be taking 3 days of cardio classes a week as well as regular workout the other 2 days. I had been drinking health-shakes for 2 meals a day, but without the cardio just a few pounds lost. Things should be shaping up over the next 4-5 months. I figure I should be close to my goal around the holidays. Fortunatley, I build muscle really easily so even if I am heavier on the scale, there is hardly any jiggle-bits

I would like the whole family to join the gym. There is a real nice gym here with areas for the kids to exercise rather than sit in a room and play. Maybe that could be a christmas gift to the family since it cost alot for a family to join.

I need to loose quite a bit of weight. Gah! About another 40 at the least!

From what I can see in your pics, you don't look like you ned to loose. But it's wise to eat healthy and exercise every day and use weights every other day.

you and me both!

Now that I had a cheez its attack though, it's Dt Mt Dew for me. I'm so damn tired. I can clear a 2 liter bottle in one shift. Now everyone do the math with me

Mt Dew-the highest calorie cola at 170 calories/serving x a 2 liter bottle=

one eternal fatass!
