gothicmom
I just thought there were certain things that were approved and anything that was packaged like that was not allowed. Like you could buy the ingredients to make something like that but not something that was already prepared. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> From what I remember, prepared foods are like the rotisery (sp?) chicken, sometimes salad bar, or the hot foods. I think it depends on the store.
JaneDead
from what i recall i thought you could pretty much get any food you wanted just not candy, cigarettes, "paper" products- as they are not "food" or alcohol.

As long as it's food, meaning edibles. It doesn't matter if it's all packaged goods, like Hot Pockets, it's food. WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) only allows certain foods, like formula, tuna, PB, etc.
Brenda Starrr
As far as the issue of this thread, this is what I had to do, as I the same exact issue with my son: Anything that is NOT cold, stash in your room. Seriously. I had no choice. I found all sorts of snack wrappers and the like under his bed when I was Spring cleaning a few years ago! I couldn't believe it. I thought Wayne was eating all the food. Just stash it in your room, when he isn't around to see. If he has access to your room, get a deadbolt. This is only my advice. If it sounds harsh, I got news for all of you: Sometimes, you don't have a choice.
gothicmom
Thats a good idea. Then they just show up! I had thought about moving them to the cupboard above the refrigerator, but if he tried that would be more dangerous!
Brenda Starrr
I'm serious. I had tried moving them to higher cupboards and all sorts of other things. They will risk injury to get to the snack, believe that!
