Oi, my first time was back in '86. I was only 17 so my friend (the Danceateria DJ) got me in. I remember the pool, the front lobby and yes, the cage. Damn, those were great times. I can even remember my hair style, all clippered in the back coming up to a pompadour front, like Alannah Curry from Thompson Twins. The song I remember playing was "How to be a Millionaire" by ABC.

Jeez you guys are old. I was BORN in 1986.

anyway, my first time at CC was June 2005. I went into 7/11 at 2am and the guys behind the counter (it turned out to be TJ) saw that I was wearing fishnet and was like, "hey, do you go to city club?" that was the first I'd ever heard of it. I came by myself, and just sat and people watched for a couple hours before anyone talked to me. I ran into some people from high school(which was fucking weird), and I danced some. The dancing led to some, umm, other stuff. What can I say, I'm easily corrupted, and CC is very corrupt.

Oh, the nasty-ass city rat infested pool. by day it looked all mild mannered, by night...(cringing)... when i lived above the club i decided with a bunch of other people who lived there to venture into those unchartered waters. we heard a few big slashes on the other end, looked up and there were giant rats coming at us. i'd never seen a goup of people scatter of of a pool so damned fast before.

Early '80s... don't remember the band... no, wait, that was the "other" City Club on Elizabeth, that started out as Clutch Cargo's...

first time at Leland was December '03, after a Psychopathic event (Big Ballers). I drove over from the Magic Stick by myself & had no idea where the club was... ended up wandering into Labyrinth before finding my way to the right place. So I was just overjoyed to find some familiar faces. Don't remember much about actually being in the club, but we spent quite a while chillin in the Ramada lobby trying to find out where the party was... don't know if we ever found it, but the attached pic of me & Anybody Killa is from that nite, shot in the main (upstairs) lobby around 3 AM.

Oh, that would be about ten years ago when I was about 15 or 16. It was easy to get in, all my friends worked there. I dont remember much, was fucked up off all the drugs I used to do. I dident know any goth people back then, I was hanging out with a bunch of pill popping ravers, we used to come in rolling off X and play spades all night.

Was Feb. of last year. 3 + me went, 2 + me were drunk. We get in the door, and get carded and told we all have to leave since my friend and i were underage and drunk, they didnt want to get in trouble.

So we walked our sorry asses out, and into the Lab, where we met cool people and a funny/good band (cant remember there name) they kept stopping between songs and telling jokes. The Bartender was awesome as shit, and the night didnt end to badly either, hehehe :wink
