I haven't done this in a long time, but i would listen to the Old People radio station. *hides face in shame*

They play rally old stuff like Bing Crosby, Nat King Cole (my fav!) also some Elvis a few bad &0's soft stuff.

i'm so embarrassed! It's relaxing

I also like Patsy Cline

I'm so open about the things I listen to and sing, I'm beyond considering any of it "guilty".

So, the more "ecclectic" things I listen to are:

Standards including Dean Martin, Ella Fitzgerald, Bing, Frank & the whole lot;

Jazz including Coltrane, Davis, Brubeck, etc.

Harry Connick Jr.

Broadway music

Been listening to Nick Drake since before he ended up on television commercials

I'm a 70's rock fan, especially Heart, Cheap Trick & Journey

I like a heavy dose of movie soundtrack & theme songs, particularly stuff by Randy Newman

The Moog-generated Baroque Hoedown, theme to the Disney Light parade.

Everything 80's

Split Enz and related people & groups, especially Tim & Neil Finn and Crowded House

Polka & other Polish music

When I need to sleep, Muzak

(The last two especially remind me of my mother, coming home from school and hearing both types of music playing on the stereo)

The only form of "musical guilt" I feel I legitimately suffer is that my preferred style of dress is more punk than goth, and I've never been into punk music at all, besides owning one Sex Pistols & one Clash album. I WAS into new wave, both the look AND the music in the 80's, but never punk.

lulu.....Sebastian Bach is hot as shit! When I come to MI, we'll have to rock out on that one!

HW....some people are embarrassed to admit that they love these bands. I, however, am not! "The Final Countdown" fucking rules.

FC....I will belt out an 80's Heart tune ANY DAY! And I looooove Cheap Trick. My kids got to meet them, and brought me a few guitar pics from them. Robin Zander is simply yummy. Sigh.......

I got my first (and only) Rick Neilsen pick a couple years ago down here, of all places. They were playing this barbecue fest (oh, how the mighty do fall), and one landed on the pavement in front of me. Had to fight with this chick who just about smashed my fingers with her shoe trying to get it away from me - but in the end, it's mine, scratches and all. I took great pictures, but have yet to get them developed.

Heh. Considering I've had maybe 2 rolls of film developed in 6 years of marriage, that won't happen anytime soon.

OT: I need to find a decent place to get mine developed - I don't trust places like Wal-Mart, and we moved away from the only place I did trust, Adray Appliance & photo in Allen Park.

Back on topic: Rick noticed me with the camera and posed for me. I'm sure what I got is great, just won't know for sure anytime soon...

hmmm no guilty pleasures here. i like much of what is mentioned here as well.

love the greatest american hero theme song.

rather than "guilty pleasures" i have stuff i like that is not normal for me to like. like the brittney spears song toxic. i don't like her music at all. don't care much for her in general. not that i "dislike" her, i don't know her. ;) but i am not a fan. but i like this song and that is odd for me.
