What's your musical "guilty pleasure"?

I hate the fact that people put Glam Metal and hair bands as guilty pleasures...Not so with me. MY guilty pleasures?

Nickleback and Slipknot.

Everything else, I am pretty open about and don't care who knows it...These are the only two that I tend to keep to myself.

hmm... lessee...

-space hog (remember them?)

-elastica (probably nothing to be guilty of, but I ONLY like their first album, and I INSIST on playing it SUPER loud and singing in my best brit rock voice)

-toad the wet sprocket (tee-hee... i've seen them in concert)

-jars of clay (i LOVE his voice, great sounding music, just don't agree with the general christianliness of the message)

-old marilyn manson (really, i CAN'T STAND them anymore, and I haven't listened to them for years, but I still keep all the albums pre-holywood on my shelf)

-faith no more and mr. bungle (mike patton rocks, in a weird sci-fi metal way)

-mclusky (they're HORRIBLE noise rock, but they have something catchy about them)

Not ashamed of any of my collection to date~

Tho some people don't appreciate as much as I do:

- Old punk - even crap like Crass is fun at times (I have some amusing vinyl in this catagory...my little sister's boyfriend is slowly wheedling most of it from my rather dusty record bins)

- Lots of late 80's early 90's grunge and pupa of the genre.

- Tons of classical, baroque, Romantic and post modern.

- Most of my progressive trance stuff annoys 98% of the people I consider good friends...not sure why they be hatin' as it's much better than euro-house or other "sewing machine/house" junk.

I join the ranks in not being ashamed of what I listen to:

Random selection:

*Digital Underground (take me to a karaoke bar and give me some vodka and I'll amaze you with the Humpty Dance)

*Goa Trance

*Musicals - Broadway or film

*old Bluegrass & mining camp songs

*pre-grunge "alternative"

*old punk (good call on Crass, Holliwood!)

*video game remixes

*weird mash-ups
