I think the first definition of radical as a noun, "radicals seeking to overthrow the social order", is an accurate description of what you have mentioned. Typically, the word "radical" and the phrase "closed-minded" do not carry the same connotations.

Sigh.

The 27" tv we found in the trash a few weeks ago is showing signs of why it was thrown out in the first place. The picture has shifted down 2", and is sometimes worse.

We've been looking so hard for a TV that's bigger than 13". This was the first one that worked out of the half dozen or so we brought home and ended up having to throw right back onto the curb.

Sigh. I just want a freaking TV that works and is bigger than a watch.

If you have bad credit...there are plenty of Credit Card companies that will offer you a card with a low credit limit with an introductory 0%. Charge it...just make sure that you make at least double the minimum payment. Then you kill two birds with one stone, you get your TV and your credit score goes up.

Some things are better to own brand new.

Lots to like but I was getting some bad vibes about where she was at mentally.  Very little I could cite specifically.. I tend to trust my intuition.  Maybe that's not entirely fair... I don't know.

But we really are trying to improve our budget, and one thing we've always attempted to keep out of our life is credit debt. We are working on some steps that may improve our situation some, and adding a new credit card - even a secured card - would defeat the efforts we've made.

It just pains me that we had a beautiful, brand-new 27" TV - that I had to leave in NC. It was the first one we'd ever bought new. =(

Well.. It cerntainly wasn't just about sex... which is why I was sad. And Normal? Eeekkkk!!! I don't like that word. How about healthy? The kids certainly had something to do with my decision as did my own place mentally. I'm not in the mood for all kinds of drama right now.
