i'm constantly changing mine. Right now I have a pic of Lady death with this caption I found and made changes too. "The night summons me like an unquenched love, with open arms, beckoning me, with a promise to take my pain away and grant me peace"

I also use a couple of pics from Ghost in the Shell and some postcards I scanned that I got at Hot Topic. Sometimes I just use scenery pics or pic of WWII planes from local air shows.

Sure if you want to slow it to a crawl. A waste of good computer resources.

At one time I think it was spyware ridden but I heard they got rid of that. Not sure though.
