I made a "gothy" version of one of the standard Mac OS X backrounds...

Dork. I still haven't figured out how to use GRAB.

I need an Apple class or something to figure out how to do the cool stuff that isn't obvious.

Here's the pic on my work 'puter, only it's cropped and much better quality. It's my little girl climbing at REI about three months before she turned 3. It's also the first time she made it to the top. She saw the wall about six months previously, turned to me, and said "Daddy, I want to climb that!" having never seen anyone climb it before. She's insane, and regularly shows up kids three times her age climbing.

*edited to switch to a thumbnail cause it turned out friggen huge!*

My current desktop is a map of Senneca, a land I created for Dungeons & Dragons.

That's awsome Spook. Damn, I miss creating campaign worlds and modules. I wish I saved some of them. Making the maps/detailed floorplans was always my favorite part.

A couple years ago a few friends wanted to play a D&D game with lots of politics involved. I said, "If you want politics, why don't we just play Vampire: The Masquerade?" But they insisted on D&D even though that game really doesn't support politically based games. So, I decided to create my own world with a politically based infrastructure and it actually turned out great. Group fizzled though and I haven't played in a couple years. I really miss that world though and would love to get back to developing it more and playing in it.
