School is coming in September; Curse them all!

Ok, School is preparing to start real soon in September and I know that some of ya do want to go back & some don't! I know I don't want to go back unless you pay me enough, lol! :laughing

Anyways; before we all get ready to buy shit; Did we all enjoy our summer vacation? Did we all get paid by getting laid?! :woot:

I didn't and I'm mad about it, lol! :tear But seriously; are we ready to go back to school in september or what?

(not to mention that gas prices are now 3 dollars, WTF?!?!)

Hey girl, haven't seen ya around for a while!

September my ass ... I gotta go back to work Wednesday. The kids don't come back till next week but... vacation is essentially over for me. Guess I should enjoy having a long summer break while I can, since more & more districts are going to year-round school (with several 2-week breaks spaced throughout the year). I know all the arguments for year-round, and I do agree with them, but... it's STILL nice having the whole summer to bum around. But then again, it would be nice to be able to travel & whatnot at other times of year... and maybe the more frequent breaks will keep us from getting so physically & emotionally drained that we NEED a whole 2 months off.

Anyway... all in all I had a nice vacation, no major drama or trauma... & yes I did indeed get paid by getting laid... and that was nice, too.

& I love shopping for supplies... as long as I'm doing it w/a purchase order or know I'm getting reimbursed for it. Which unfortunately is only the case w/prolly 1/3 of the vast amounts ov loot I spend on my classroom. That's the one thing they don't tell you in teacher school- how much ov your own $$ you end up spending.
