saechalyn
Heehee, probably not. Maybe I need a sugar daddy?? I don't need a boob job, I already got those! So he can pay to fix my eyes instead. :laughing
Daevion
Dr. Soong assisted with my surgery and is now the head surgeon I think (as the doc who did mine has retired.) Glad it went well! one question: Did they give you a stuffed critter while they did the surgery? I didn't think I'd need it, but during the proceedure I was squeezing it like crazy! =) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> no critter for me.....thinking back though I sure could have used one

Homicidalheathen
Congrats on your success......I knew you'd feel good about it once you were through Everything went awesome with the lasik, and now I can see without glasses!! The worst part was getting thru the burning and itchiness that occured once the local anasthetic wore off. Dr. Soong at the Kellog eye center in ann arbor is an excellent surgeon so if you have the cash I highly recomend getting it done. <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

saechalyn
$295 per eye sounds nice but I don't think my vision is somewhere where I want to go bargain shopping...

I didn't go with them because the cost sounded too good to be true and I wanted to make sure I went with a reputable surgeon....also I wanted to make sure I had a thorough eye exam before they blast away my eyeballs with their laser. Draco1958
The sports reporter Eli Zarret(sp?) does the commercial for Yaldo Eye Center. The $295 price is a special, they are only charging for the Lasik upgrade for a short time.

unchaste
Everybody advertises $295/eye, but then they examine you and say "Well you have istigmatism and your eyes are especially bad, so it'll cost you $2095/eye." I really want to get this done, my vision is uber terrible (-6.50), but even if it is only $295, I still can't afford it.

saechalyn
i wonder if you can do a payment plan? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It is considered an elective procedure, which means no payment plans, at least from what (little, I admit) research I have done. Daevion
There are some prices and doc listed Reaper...scroll on up a bit. You'll see them sweetie :fear <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I noticed that most of the websites I went to didn't have any approximate prices listed. I chose the kellog eye center out of convienence and I didn't want to have to drive long distance for surgery and post-op eye exams, Kellog specializes in eyes and has a good reputation being UofM and all and Dr.Soong has a lot of experience in Lasik surgery and good credentials. Maybe I could've gotten it done slightly cheaper at Yaldo or perhaps even winsdor....I don't know my eyes were pretty messed up having astigmatisms and nearsightedness in both eyes, probably considered legally blind without glasses. Mzdeadlyspell
I so need this done...but I can not till next year..my eyes changed in a year...... Draco1958
Can u explain that in more detail Draco? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Heard the radio commercial on AM 950 the other day. Yaldo extended their offer thru October. Basically there is a new way to do it, which is a $295 upgrade. But for a limited time they are just charging the upgrade fee. But that price does depend on the amount of correction need. I believe this price is for 1 diopter of correction. Yaldo is a very reputable place with many years experience. For more info go to www.yaldoeyecenter.com . They also help arrange financing to make monthly payments.

Nienna
i wonder if you can do a payment plan? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I did a payment plan for mine.. I paid $2600 for the procedure and all followup (Including any necessary touch ups) for a year. I paid $100 a month for about 2 years, but I had to apply and be approved for financing.
