I was not in any clubs.

I slept in class often and the teachers knew it was pointless to wake me-I was a lost cause. I could walk out in front of the prinipal and nothing would be said to me. I remember reading Marx in class instead of the class' material, I was just very impatient with the curriculum. I did no homework for most classes, but even so, I still graduated with a 'B' average.

I was every elitist and spoke to only a few other students-mostly just people who liked the same music, of which there were very few. Most of my friends were older though...in senior year I can remember that my voice would break when I spoke, becuase I'd gone days without talking to anyone.

If there is one subject I aboslutely love talking about, it's HIGH SCHOOL.

Oh, I'm sorry, my sarcasm was stuck in the ON position.

Let me see, the short list:

Yearbook editor

Bear Facts (school newspaper)

Camera Club

Science Society

Badger State (a sort of youth achievement camp, some damn thing I don't remember)

Math team (I sucked, but there were very few others)

Track & Field

National Honor Society (arrogant pricks)

Drama Competition

Forensics

There are a few more floating around.

erm. i just studied and smoked. then studied some more through bleary eyes.

i tell lie. i did St John Ambulance work as a cadet, eventually getting cadet of the year for my county, being county delegate for x amount of years on the WYC, and getting 2 training qualifications and 3 straight bars on my shoulder.

i stopped when i went to uni

i also did air cadets too but left when they got anal about my hair length (may be organised by the RAF but were not RAF) also i left as some top brass visited our squadron and someone blabbed that we werent often in ATC blues, but out on the hills and old coal tramlines in DPM's practacing cammo and patroll techniques with a massive punch up at the end). they put a stop to that. and 2 nights a week of air recognition got very fuckin boring. nearest i got to flying was 1 day in full Harrier flight gear at a local show to promote the squadron.

next day i was out with first aid kit in SJA itchy blacks. funnily enough the day princess di died. remember walking wioth some of the ATC lot while on my rounds when my radio packed in, during the two minute silence we werent aware of. i stood still and smacked the sdhit out of the set while the ATC kept moving and yappin away. some officer in charge of the sea cadets (royal navy's equivelent) blasted that lot and said i was an example. the only time my radio ever went down. funny that.

High School, just AFJROTC. Colourguard and Exhibition and Standard Drill Teams. I led all three.

I was a cheerleader in elementary school, played basketball in elementary and Jr. High, and took dance, gymnastics, and skating (both ice and dance roller skating) lessons for the better part of 15 years or so. ...I can actually FIGURE SKATE on rollerblades (I have special skates - rollerblades - with FRONT brakes . It's cool as hell!

At 26, and four kids later, I can still do just about everything I was ever taught. I wsa teaching my daughters how to do cartwheels and handsprings the other day. :grin

I was in color guard (the people that do the fancy shit with flags while the band plays at football games) for 2 years until I got kicked off because I got suspened from school too many times for fighting, and because I began to refuse to remove my facial piercings. I was also in 2 plays.
