gothicmom
We went to Blockbuster Friday so Michael could rent a game. My husband said it cost us over $11 to get a movie and a game. I asked him if we had a fee or something (i wait until i almost forget to return my stuff :devil ). He said he didn't know. I found the receipt on the counter. The movie was $3.99 and the game was $7.99!! I about fell on the floor!! We might as well go buy the stupid game! Oh well, Michael is happy cuz he finally gets to play Halo 2! And I don't plan on returing it anytime soon!! He's going to get his $8 worth of play!!
Onyx
Yep, we have noticed they always charge at least double for games. Movies are all we rent there anymore unless we have a game coupon.

gothicmom
Bittorent, turn around time about 3-5 hours. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hehehehe, we are quite familiar with Bittorent!!! We have a netflix account. We let Aym get a movie so she would have something to watch over the weekend and Michael has been bugging about playing Halo 2. We don't go to video stores hardly at all any more.
Fierce Critter
You need to check out small, mom&pop video rentals. There's one near my parents' house in Taylor that only charges something like $1.50 for VHS rentals, $3.00 for DVD rentals (IMO - high, and doesn't make me happy), $3.95 for new releases (seems standard), and games are something like $5.00 for 5 days. The video rental we went to in NC had a big rack of relatively new releases and some old ones mixed in that were .99 cents for 5 days. Miss that. But I think we're going to end up getting Netflix ourselves. We're not getting cable for a while (gotta sell that freaking motorcycle), and Netflix is a good alternative. They got tons of rent 2 for $1 specials and your first month u get 50% off of all rentals so their like 25 cents a movie. New releases are only like $1.50 I think too its an excellent deal try em friend. Sorry I didn't see u at city on Saturday but oh well maybe another time I'll be at mephistos this Saturday for my bday.
