Because I've been working on petitioning the courts to allow me to create a legally-binding marriage with the City of Detroit. No luck yet, but 25 years later, I haven't given up hope.

What's your favorite tourist trap?

Well since Chernys question was not answered and the above is a fake I will say my favorite tourist trap is Houghton Lake. When was the last time you caught a fish?

The last fish I caught was last summer, it was a baby pike.

What do you daydream about?

Online shopping.

Which scares you more about modern advances in technology: the increasing likelihood of mankind developing true AI and dooming us all, or nanobots/super viruses/genetically engineered crops rendering the Earth uninhabitable?

P.S.: One crack-brained scheme to solve the energy crisis by turning loose a bacteria that would lie dormant in EVERY ROOT SYSTEM IN THE WORLD and turn dead plant matter into ethanol almost killed every plant in the world...because it didn't wait for the plant to die...

neither of those two. I'm much more worried (to the extent I worry about such things) about the waning effectiveness of antibiotics.

you have access to a time machine, but you can only make one one-way trip. To what point on the continuum will you go?

To a point in the future where they have figured out a way to get the thing working so I could go back... (thanks futurama)

Time Splitters Future Perfect. You come across a locked door, and a time rift opens up near you. Your future self gives you the key to the door, but reminds you to give it to your past self later. You later give the key to your past self, thus begging the question... where's you get the first key?

Which would be better for Humanity as a whole: A Utopian society that has evolved beyond the need for money, or a grand war of Good vs Evil where aliens are clearly the aggressors and all of humanity bands together to fight them off.
