The New Album

Mourning sun

So the rumours were true. After much speculation and debate,

Those who have waited patiently are to be rewarded with the release world-wide on 11 November of

the stunning new album from FIELDS OF THE NEPHILIM, long missed but back with arguably its finest offering to date.

To be entitled MOURNING SUN, it combines the atmospheric elegies of previous classics such as ELIZIUM,

whilst creating a powerful new aural sound dimension led as always by the unmistakable vocals of band founder Carl McCoy.

The silence on what you are about to behold, has been justified.

We have remained still so that there was never any confusion about release dates, names, formats, etc,

and all in good time you will learn more and more as the Sons of the Mourning prepare for the Day of Reckoning.

So hold tight, and the veil will be withdrawn. Soon ...
