When I danced I wieghed 82 lbs. My freinds said I was too thin.....my boss said I looked great....I did bring in more guys then.

However I got sick and almost died a few times....probably because of all the speed I did to stay thin when younger....and the long days on end without food......

I got so sick I weighed 75 lbs once. I was so weak I couldn't do much.....who wants a weak unhealthy woman? I realize that now. When I was in my 80's I got Hypoglycemic all the time....faint.....heart palpitations....that is just not sexy. If your naturally thin that is one thing....but not wierd diets...I should know. My doctor worries when my wieght hits 90 now. I am 4 foot 11. He actually wants me 10 to 20 lbs over wieght at all times.....so it is not a bad thing to have a few extra lbs. If I were to get stranded someplace and had to go for awhile without eating and had to hike....I could do it now. I want to be ready for anything in this crazy world....ya know?

I look at it this way: if a woman won't eat a healthy meal when we're out on a date, and go out on a long walk with me later that evening, then I probably shouldn't be dating her.

Being nowhere near physically perfect myself, I have neither the inclination nor the right to expect that kind of perfection from others. What I won't tolerate is someone that won't eat, or someone who won't exercize to use that energy we just consumed.

Does that make sense?

Healthy-looking is good. A few extra pounds is OK as long as someone is in the healthy/normal body weight range. Eating snack foods like Cheez Its every now and then does not hurt.

On the other hand, I have to say that there are a number of very obese people in the Detroit goth scene. I know that Americans are bigger than ever in general, but why do so many of the really big ones become goths? What happened to the thin vampire goths from the late 80s and early 90s?

Er, I've noticed that any alternative scenes are tolerant of a wide range of types of people: for example I've seen conjoined twins, little-people, people who weighed 480+ pounds, 85 pounds, black, white, asian, Hispanic, people in wheelchairs etc. just at old CC. Except for the uber-uppity types in NY, LA etc - most non-mainstream gatherings/social places etc have a wider range of types of people - so it is not just a concentration of heavier people...I imagine at regular fratboy bars people with extra pounds are treated rather badly.

My choice would be the normal to pleasingly plump side. I am 6'3", 265 lbs. No way will I expect the thin slinky type, I would be afraid of breaking her with a hug. And pleasingly plump means she can attract my attention so that isn't a set size so much as just nice looking for her size. I am willing to explain more if asked.

I like "normal" woman. I like woman who can take pride in herself no matter her shape or size, i like it when woman wear cloths and outfits that flatter them and their bodies. I liek woman who have shape, i do not like a woman who does not have curves. So i guess i really dont like a skinny girl. But a thinner girl with round curves and the right amount of thick in the right places can get em to drool. I like plump bottoms and medium to large breasts. I dont mind a bit of chubb in the belly or other palces as long as the chub matches the rest of her.

I liek woman who look healthy and porportinal.

It soo depends on the indiviual make of the persons body for me.

I know i am difficult :erm

Never would I want to be skin and bones - I don't care how many more people may be attracted to me. It is not healthy looking and sorry, gotta keep the curves. I already feel pain when someone presses on even lightly on parts of me where the bones are close to the skin, i.e. collar bone, elbow, certain spots on the ribs... I couldn't handle that all over. I couldn't even imagine hugging someone who felt like that anyway. ick.
