my dads company gordons food service matched the employees donations of 70,000 and sent a grand total of 140,000$ in foods to frontlines with their own trucks.

like 50$ a head per employee and the company matched every dollar. no advertising no 10% of profits go to bla bla bla they just did the damn thing.

Very detailed reports have been submitted for several years to the powers that be concerning New Orleans and it's out dated levy systems and systematic constant lowering.

In these reports, great details of probable consequences were laid out. Mathced almost verbatim with what actually went down.

Still - for whatever reasons ($$$???), these warnings were ignored.

Cant see how God had much to do with this then, since this tragedy was not really an unforseen situation. People knew, people went to bat, and other people declined to address the issues.
