Surprised there isnt discussion on this album and the tour!?

Anyone else agree the new album is probably in the top three albums they ever released right up there with Nihil and Angst? I cant get this damn disc out of my stereo. Theres only maybe one song I cant get into (number 3) but I know its gonna grow on me anyway. WWIII did a decent job of makin up for attak, but this is freakin excellent this time around. total redemption to me...

Also, anyone goin to see em thursday?

Really?? You are that into it?

I haven't heard it yet, but I lost interest in KMFDM about 10 years ago. Maybe I'll check it out.

The album, while I downloaded it, is DEFINITELY worth the purchase. This album was NOT a disappointment at all. Well put together, the music, the rhythms, the drive, the energy..... everything about this album screamed "Holy SH*T!!"

If you are a KMFDM fan (( or hell, even if you arent )), this album is a definite piece of impressive musical art.

MM MMM Good!!

HOLY HELL WHY DID ANY OF YOU MISS THIS!!!

I have seen these guys so many damn times now and every single time they TEAR IT UP!

Tonight the majestic theater was off the damn hook while KMFDM was on stage. They played the single song I have WAITED to hear live tonight and it was insane! (in case you care the song is Waste)

songs they played i remember off the top of my head

WASTE

Hau Ruck

Free Your Hate

Real Thing

Drug Agaisnt War

DIY

World War III

New American Century

Mini Mini Mini

Attak

Good Day To Die

Terror

MEGALOMANIAC

Last Things

Son of A Gun

I know there is two or three more but holy hell was it good! No guest apperances... just straight up KMFDM. I sorta missed PIG being there but hearing the stuff they played that I either havent heard in years or have always wanted to hear more than made up for it. I took two friends who had only heard maybe three KMFDM songs in their lives and they both agreed to never miss them again.

Stronger then ever, ever before.... KMFDM is a drug against war!

Agreed, this is definately a good kmfdm album. I was really disappointed with WWIII, it just wasn't very... anything. But Hau Ruck has a really good old kmfdm feeling, it utilizes a lot of the things I used to really like about them from say, symbols and Nihil, but still sounds fresh.

I'm kinda disappointed that they broke their title pattern though. It was so... pointlessly cool. long live the five letter title!

I miss the five letter title as well (it was just as you said... pointlessly cool. but always expected), but this album seems to be a realignment for the band. Goin back the the "peak" (in the fans eyes) of their sound and the lack of guest artists, to me, shows this.

I was at the concert :grin

*pout* I hate you guys.

Last time they were in D-town, I was supposed to go, as a birthday present, but somehow got into a car with my roomate at the time, instead of driving there myself, and ended up taking a detour into Ohio to meet a very dearly missed woman, but ended up not making it to the concert because the car died. Twice.

Sonofabitch!

And they'll never come to Alaska, so I'll just have to hope they stay together a few more years, so I can get a chance... someday.

Title pattern? Wha?

Um, I wrote a review about Hau Ruck on my LJ, if anyone wants me to post it, I will. I got some compliments on what I wrote, but that's beside the point. I wrote the Hau Ruck review in comparison to :Wumpscut:'s "Evoke" album as a 'Good vs Bad' sort of thing..... e.e
