Finally!

I had a really great time last night. Met a few new faces (new to me, anyway), and saw some rare appearances, as well. I finally got to meet Homocidal Heathen! My long lost sister! Hopefully, next time we'll get to talk more. I'm not going to list everyone, because I will forget someone. It was nice seeing you all. You know, I used to be this shy little wallflower, but around you guys, I feel like family.

I didn't dance a lot, but I talked to nearly everyone and had a couple vodka & cranberries (my fav). I ended up leaving a bit early....and getting home pretty late.

Sorry I didn't make it out like I said I would. I ended up helping a divorced lady move out of her old apartment and into her new place. What was claimed to be a "quick 2 hour job" turned out to be like 5 1/2 hours of back-breaking work.. But, it's ok, there's always next weekend, and if it wasn't for the help of me and a couple friends, she would have been in a bit of a problem.

I will be there next Saturday, for sure.. Maybe the whole weekend, I dunno.. We shall see.

Arrived early. Gave Medea a lift to CC at the last second. (Cuz I'm nice like that, yo!)

Somehow I missed out on the food afterwards. No problem... I had a great time anyways!!!

People I met/saw/talked with/danced with... in roughly chronological order:

Medea. Stylin outfit as always. Had time to catch up since we haven't talked in a while.

Darkangel: Briefly introduced by Medea. I think. :fear

Dirty_Whispers: Flitted in and out of conversational range often. Got to wish you a happy birthday. (And vice versa) She brought along her sister ( Now on the board as Lil_Tinkerbella) and another friend whom we dubbed "pixie". She was 4'8" of total cuteness. A little faerie said she will join us too.

Reaper: Met for the first time. Took me a second to recognize and then it was like "bing"!! Good to meet you sir!

phee and phee-ance': :laughing Always a rare treat to see you at CC. Doubly special since you brought you bride to be... Sweet gal... You're a lucky man! Phee can dance with the best of them!!

Daevion: You sexy beast you. Shameful flirt last night... :grin

Saechayn: Pleasure to see you again. I'd say you were having a fine time...

unchaste: Another full face encounter. Lovely glow-in the dark cleavage my dear. Glad you left in better shape then last week.

Game of Chance: Good to see ya again. Brief conversations here and there, but niether of us stands still for long.

Holli and Zhuk: I love talking with you two!! Holli ... you and I need to double team the beverage line more often if free drinks are the result. :woot:

Fierce Critter and ottergoth: Another couple I love conversing with. Dancing was fun too!! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

DollarDave and wife: We didn't get to talk much but it was great to see you two up there.

CirceDragonus: Woohoo!! Glad to have you back... even if the circumstances of your return are less then wonderful.

I was very pleased to see some of my good friends from SG show up and spend a little time on the dance floor with me.

All in all.. A great evening.

I got waaaaay too drunk. I appoligize if I bothered anyone or was an ass. I lost my purse or it was stolen and wandered around looking for it for awhile......then after I was done being mad I made out with someone I am just freinds with......I swear I have never done anything with that boy we are just freinds.

I do play with the lady I came with though. We had fun she hasn't been there in years and was really enjoying herself on the dance floor.

I saw lots of peeps and everyone seemed pretty happy.

When I got home my ears were ringing. I think it was a combo of the loud music and booze. I guess booze makes your ears ring, something to do with blood presure.

My my my my... where to start...

This was probably about the most eventful evening I've ever had at CC, in the entire 15 years or so I've been going there.

Started with the parking lot. Arrived about 11:30, and no spaces were available on the street where we prefer to park (no $$ required). But there was no "Full" sign on the fenced-in lot, so we figured we lucked out this weekend. Pulled in, the guy at the gate seemed to take quite a while to come up to the car. When he did, he said they were full. We wondered why there wasn't a sign up, but figured no big deal, and backed our "looks like it had a stroke" '99 S-10 with mis-matched cap into a close spot to turn around and exit.

As we were doing so, a BMW SUV pulls in, and we see the booth guy go and take their money and usher them in. So I pull up to the booth, and say, "so how come my money's no good and theirs is?" His reply, "They're in latex... (looooong hesitation).... they're a group." My response, "are they PERFORMING tonight?" Looooong hesitation, then, "No." My response, "You know that's total bullshit. Complete and total bullshit." And the kid shakes his head, says, "alright, I don't want a hassle" and takes our $3 and gives us a parking pass and we pull into a spot right up front.

Since when is this Studio Fucking Fifty-Four where you have to be dressed a certain way to get door/parking privileges?!?!? Hell if I'm going to put up with that kind of discriminatory, elitist bullshit from a shithole (beloved as it may be to me) like CC. Do the owners of CC even have anything to do with the parking? WHAT THE FUCK EVER.

Anyway, I was pissed, but not enough to ruin my evening, far from it. It kinda made for good conversation.

So Jon and I made our way into the club and were immediately accosted by all numbers of DGN'ers. Ended up chatting with some old faves like Medea (let me know how the ritual goes), Harmony (waaaaay didn't get enough face time with you and Brian), DollarDave (never did get to meet the wife...), HeadlessGoth, Unchaste (thanks for the hand-me-down ), Reaper ("you can fondle my ears all you want, but stay away from my tail"), GameOfChance, Holliwood & Zhukov (Holliwood, I really loved your hair last night, and if my staring at you made you uncomfortable, I meant to compliment your jewelry but I don't think I ever managed to get the thought out of my mouth - I really thought it was elegant & lovely), MsterBeau (your hoedown with Jon about killed me - seriously, I about died. Seriously) and a few others I'm sure I'm forgetting.

I met Phee's Phiance before I even met Phee (Lovely lady, Phee - I had no idea you were even hooked-up, Katarina was very sweet), phinally met Phee (Forest Whittaker... now that's a stretch. Of course, in my drunken haze, I was thinking you meant Walter "rancid bear grease" Brennan...) Anyway, great getting to meet you.

HUZZAH! Jon and I were inducted into the Hall of Pease by Rambo!!! :grin Great conversation, by the way. Sounds like you're going to come through this minor life bump fine.

DirtyWhispers - thanks for introducing yourself finally! Ordinarily you're such a nipple-tape-clad social butterfly that we never got the chance to officially say hey. Glad that's taken care of now. =)

HomicidalhHeathen - again, finally! Such a pleasure meeting you, but looking forward to actually CONVERSING.

Dynomiiiite - FINALLY!!! I can't tell you what an absolute pleasure it was to finally meet you face-to-face. By the time I did, I was a few drinks along, and I'm pretty sure came off pretty scatterbrained. But it was a pleasure anywhoo, and I'm looking forward to chatting more with you in a less inebriated state.

Sorry I kept getting dragged off mid-conversation with so many. I'd be talking to someone and feel a tap on my shoulder, if not a grab & spin to be met with someone new. Flattering but I'm sure makes me come off as pretty rude - someday I'll have met everybody from the board and that won't happen anymore, I'm sure...

Bean Water - thanks for indulging me my first ever girl kiss. :grin Though I am firmly entrenched in my heterosexuality, I can honestly say adding this experience to my life didn't suck. Please let me know you got home safe.

Yeah, I'd say about the most eventful CC night of my life thusfar. :grin

In the future, I think I'll be cutting down the drinking, however. At one point, I was only slightly buzzing and feeling good, without feeling a need really to get any further drunk. That's a good thing. But I ended up taking someone up on their offer of something they couldn't finish, and Jon and I shared a Long Island to empty our wallet. That pushed us both over our limits, and resulted in me feeling quite ill this morning. Jon and I both want to keep ourselves in check 'cause we enjoy conversations too much and too much booze makes us too sloppy. Really looking forward to meeting DGN'ers in non-drinking situations someday.

I'm so sorry, to Dark_Juggalette, that i didn't go...and a few others, if they knew i was supposed to...ended up running into a financial situation with one of my new mamminals...vet bill was espensive so i didn't have enough money for gas AND entry...but i will try my HARDEST! to be there next week...i miss CC sooooooooo much...no joke...i cried when my boyfriend told me we didn't have the money to go...who knows, maybe next week we'll have enough for gas, entry, and a certain candy bra that many enjoyed :devil ...we'll see

Wow, I really need to cut back on my drinking (I know, I say that all the time). I woke up this morning and had no clue where my clothes were, but luckily I was in my own home, haha.

From about 2:00- when I left cc is almost blank, except for a few pieces here and there.

I remember leaving with Fierce Critter and OtterGoth, where we proceeded to go to some restaurant where food may or may not have been involved (I can't recall). I remember being involved in Fierce Critter's first girl kiss, hehe :grin, and dancing on the dance floor.

It was good seeing and talking to everyone.

Sorry I didn't ghet there as I had hoped. Didn't get to run my errands till late and by the time I made it to the B-Day party I had to show up at it was 11:30. Didn't want to split too soon after getting there and before I knew it, it was almost 2. Wasn't worth making the trip out that late. I plan on making it there next weekend. Sounds like I missed some fun this weekend. Hope I can make it up next weekend.
