My First Tattoo

Recommended Posts

After considerable consideration I have decided what symbol is worthy to be permanently engraved into my flesh.

A Scorpion. Specifically representing my birthsign, scorpio.

Now to come up with an appropriate design and location. This is where I need your assistance. Should you accept this challenge, here is some information to consider:

Location:

~I am a BABY when it comes to pain.

~I want to show it off in public (preferably without disrobing).

~I want it to be covered by most normal clothing.

~I do not want what my friend calls a "tramp stamp" (small of the back).

~I live alone, so while it heals, I will need to be able to reach it to do the proper care/cleaning.

Design:

~I adore tribals so if there was a way to blend a scorpion and a tribal image that'd be cool.

~If it makes a difference, I don't want to have it recolored frequently.

~Doesn't have to be feminine, but I don't want it to look like it is ripping through my flesh.

~Still a BABY when it comes to pain, major outlining or hefty size might be bad.

~$ will be a factor. I don't want to have to save up forever.

Ok, GO!

Well duh!!!  Considering u have double d tits I think everyone would agree where that should go.  Put it on your upper breast.

That spot hurts. Dont think about the pain it is permanent. Think about the spot tats dont hurt so much as they piss ya off kinda. Just like irritating pain not like ouch oh fuck oh god kind.

Your ass M lady. Or hip. Do you want people to see it when your at work or shopping? Like a sign that says.....I am cool.....see my tat.........or do you want to hide it like........I am such a nice good girl, unitl I take off my clothes.....get it?

I want to show it off in public without disrobing but I dont want to have to work too hard to cover it up with normal clothing.

I want to be proud of it and show it to pople that I do not expect to be seeing me anywhere close to naked...like my dad.

"Hey dad, check out my tattoo...(unzips pants)" Ew!

Right in the middle of your back near your neckline.  Can be covered by shirts, but when a tank or corset is worn it will show.  Make it approx the size of your hand.  Or a little smaller.

You'll be fine.  :wink

I have HUGE HANDS! lol. And yeah, that spot sounds really painful.

The least painfull place for a tattoo (for me anyway) was the outer side of my leg, a few inches above my ankle.

The most painful was the chest, followed by the back of the neck.

The worst is the outline, then the shading is nothing.

Good Luck!

Well... the small of the back has always gets my........."attention"

Thus, the description of "tramp stamp" lol. If I had a nice looking backside, I could overlook the idea, but umm no...I think i'll try and detract attention from my rear :grin

How about we just skip right over the outline part :), nothing but shading for me hehe. Ok, maybe not.

Perhaps this is due to getting used to or giving in to the pain? After the initial shock is over?

Don't forget that quite a few tat artists are just that, artists, and exceptional ones as well. Just give them an idea and let them work up something one of a kind for you. There's nothing I dislike more than a beautiful body with a generic piece of flash.. makes baby Jesus cry it does.

And as has been mentioned, I live right down the street, if you ever need any aftercare help... :blushing

Actually the diffference is due to the different kinds of needles that are used for outlines and shading. And yes, you do get used to the pain after awhile. =)

Is this true? Are my eye's deceiving me? Tina is concidering a tattoo? Yesssss!

Get it on your upper arm, like where I have two of mine. Or on the inside wrist area, like where I have another two. Be like me, odd :grin

There's always the ankle area too. If you're feeling really ghetto, you can always get it on the side of your neck so that it looks like it's crawling. :nut
