Ye ol Cabin

Some of you old schoolers will remember when we used to do the cabin trip to that state park area to stay in the cabin for the weekend that Kevorkian extinguished those two people at. What ever happened to doing that again? I believe we could do it next year since there are a lot more people that could do it vs the old days of DGN when there were only a handful on the board and then some that could do the event.

Are we ever going to try and do this again? Marblez?

I'm interested.  Just 1 question, does it have indoor plumbing??  Would be rather nasty to freeze to the seat of the outhouse.  Also very embarrassing.

Nope, good ol outdoor shithouses. Smelly but loaded with many toilet cake mints. No indoor plumbing.

Hrmmm, I dunno.  I'm what one would classify as an Indoor kinda girl.  Where is it exactly?

Its in a cabin so its considered indoors. Its heated with a wood burner. Actually stays quite comfy all night. Its always a good time. I am interested in going back this year.

I believe the cost last time with the amount of people we had then was about $20 a person. Could be more could be less depending on how many will actually do it. Then of course add $10 or so each for food and drinks. Its relatively cheap and its damn nice outside when all the leaves around the cabin are peaked in color. So lets arrange it.

Yes, lets. I'd like very much to get drunk in the woods and snuggle by a woodstove.

Marblez? Info?

No indoor plumbing for a whole weekend?  :confused  Yikes.  Yes I am a wuss and you are free to laugh at me.

Alas, that's exactly what stopped me last time. I have to pee a lot of times in the middle of the night. It's the thing I hate most about camping and it's why I don't do it.

Camping in the Kevorkian cabin sounded cooler than cool, and in the pictures looked like so much fun. I know it'll be a great time.

You asked for it.

The only weekend left this year is December 2-4. The total rental for the entire weekend is $145. Money is due at time of reservation. I will put down $25 and reserve if I receive $120 of that up front. If we get 6 people willing to do $20 a piece that will be sufficient.

In years past, there was a per car fee, I think it was $5 and parking space is limited so carpooling is recommended.

Now is the time for everyone to decide if you REALLY want to do it. If we have more, then you can get some of your money back or the overage can go to food supplies. If there is no overage, then just byo food and drink.

I have been wanting to do a "Family" retreat like this, but considering the col weather and the fact that it will be rifle season - I am not comfortable having children there at this one.

If you like, you can paypal me at marblez1175@yahoo.com. If anyone is feeling extra generous and wants to be sure we get the money in time, feel free to send as much as you can - be aware though - if no one else decides to go, that money will have already gone to the cabin...I guess you anI can just party like rockstars (or forest rangers).
