I am interested in rocks and crystals. I use to collect them when I was younger and go rock hunting and had a rock tumbler.

I like to read....I like museums....I am interested in forensics. I spend way too much time on the computer.

Faries I luv em and i am very picky about which ones too, i got to feel the farie i know its weird bit i am like that with most things i need to feel it befor i can buy it, it has to Grab My soul other wise it is just another object, pretty or not. Given faries allways Grab me, due to the intent of the gift adn the love or thought behind it.

Gardening, althought it looks as if I dont right no but i love to grow my own pretty flowers

Being an extreme Dork myself, I have to admit I have several obsessions that drive everyone I know crazy.

1. I am crazed over the band Rammstein. I am so obssessed I have made it a point to get every cd and dvd I can get my hands on and have even got booted off AOL chat for defending them when someone said they sucked.

2. I own every collector Barbie from Avon beginning in 1996 and endin in 2003. I even have the dolls that were only sold in the Demo books that were just intended for the sellers.

3. I am also obsessed with Paranormal Romance books so insanely that I cant browse in a bookstore without money and I cant borrow from a library or someone else cuz I'll end up keeping them. They have to be my books.

4. ............There is no four that I can think of.

I have live a parallel life as a librarian/book shop keeper. I LOVE books.... Of almost anything really, although most of what I have is.....

CARS!!!!! Oil in the veins, certifiable car nut here. (Airplanes and pretty much anything mechanical too...) :woot:

A fascination with how things work. Too bad my distractablitity gets in the way. Example: Looking up info on tatoos, I notice a particularly enticing female, which reminds check SG which short circuits my brain into a new game, whereupon I find a reference to volcanos, which I've always been fascinated by so I go and look that up and.... *sigh*

I love West Wing... but since i haven't really been watching TV lately... I haven't bothered watching that either.

I own the entire X-files series on DVD (yes, even after it got crappy.)

I adore This American Life on NPR.  I've listened to all their shows at least once, and most of them more than once.

ook, some more geekage that I forgot:

Obsessivly play all Final Fantasy games...and when playing I must get all gear, side quests, extra characters, endings etc.

Also, I have seen the David Lynch DUNE movie 100+ times....I just adore that film: Gaultier costumes, Geiger sets, Lynch weirdness, awesome story - super mellowdramatic yet Royal Shakespear theater trained actors - whoot!

This is true! The University of Michigan's old head Mycologist used to live across the street from me. He'd bring over baskets of wild mushrooms - which we would fry up, enjoy immensly, and then wait to die...lol. Mmmm...morels, puffballs and other tasty bits.

Some of the non-edibles are really pretty tho.

I am a hick. Officially so break out the redneck garb. Heh. Yup. I garden now like my folks. Coarse I am more into magical herbs. But I do get down and dirty in cover-alls. Oh and I have gardening gloves and a little cart I pull around full of my tools.

Oh and I like rocks. They talk to me....

I use them for magical workings and for meditation.

I have one book on how rocks are formed and where to find them and another on what to use them for.

I assist my husband in his crazy toy collecting - The Simpson's, Family Guy, Futurama, GI Joes, Lego Box sets, Xevoz (sp?) figures, Lenore Comics and toys, etc.. In fact we pay rent on having a 2 bedroom apartment, just to have somewhere to put all of these toys.... :doh

I have to have my special time in the morning to do my "Routine"...if I get out of pattern I don't feel right

Everything has to be symetrical....the way the living room is set up, knick knacks have symetrical pattern, my dinner plate and silverware, etc....

I am love with the "OddWorld" games, and pinball, and old Nintendo games.

I have quite a few geeky ass obsessions that like most other geeks, get in the way of talking to normal humans... :laughing

heres the list:

Magic: The Gathering, Vampire the Masquerade, Snuff films of various sorts (normally people seem to get slighlty...wierded out at that...I love snuff films. They are sooo fucked up.) guitar and bass also seem to get me into geekdom. That and Gary Larson cartoons.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot the clincher: 80's hair metal. But I think we all saw that one coming.

Wow. Yah. The snuff films. These are just people, not war prisoners caught on tape? That is fucked up.

My freind made me watch the 7 faces of death guess he thought it would 'toughen me up'? WTF???

If it were just uh prisoners or something and not snuff films made just for that reason the 'entertainment' value of it and the $$$ I would want to watch one myself.

Not if someone is getting killed unjustly or someone is doing it for profit.

Why would I want to watch it?

Same reason I go to serial killer sites.

This is something i actually really want to read up on or learn one day, It think it would be cool as hell to be able to be on a nature walk w/kids, See something and know if we can take it home or not..... Even when i was a kid My grnadma had the randoms ones that grow in every ones yard, Ya know, they are usually skinny stem and thin tops, some would get pretty big and i would Look at them/ pull them a part use them in some wonderful mud pie and i could not wait for them to grow every year.

Hmmmmm maybe i should go back to school for that versus my other thoughts, seems to grab me more then cooking/baking/other foods and business does any more.........

For now, i just take pictures and look at them. :cheerful
