well its that time again

so in november the xbox 360 comes out and then not to long afterwards the ps3 and nintendo revolution make their marks as the next big three consoles on the market. which will you buy will you even get one do you even care? heres what i think

the xbox 360 looks to be pretty good so far and $400 isnt that bad of a price for the system(and a price drop is already being thrown in the air) the games look good and have actually been played which is something that the ps3 or nintendo rev cant say has been done already microsoft seems to have learned from the mistakes it made with the xbox and the way the marketed it intrenationly which will make it a much better selling console this time around the online options seem to be just a good as xbox live was last time around and you can play your own soundtrack on ever game which i think should have been an option for must games on the xbox now for the bad things other then dead or alive 4 and gears of war the graphics dont seem to be that much of a step up so far but time itself will change that as soon as companys know how to work with the system better its a problem all consoles have at launch

the ps3 looks great the games look amazing and it will have a hard drive now for the problems i havent been able to say much about it so far because well we dont know much none of the games have actually been played and the hard drive is said to store music and online data and not game save themself which is lame why upgrade something just to downgrade it at the same time? another problem i have with it is that it uses a wireless controler i can not stress enough how much i hate wireless controlers they pull me out of the game which is where i want to be when im playing so unless then plan to sell wired ones i may have to sit the ps3 out (unless its the only way i can get silent hill 5)

nintendo nintendo nintendo what are we going to do with you? you havent shown a single game for the new console yet and the controler is very very odd looking one can only hope that it makes 3rd party companies want to be really creative with what they can do with it instead of scare them away for makeing games but one of the good things about the new nintendo console is that you can download every nintendo game ever made (this is why i think that they made a light gun controler how can you play duck hunt and all of the super scope 6 games without one?) i cant go on to much more about something i have no idea about so ill end it at that

one more thing so what is they raise game prices to $60? nintendo 64 games would sometimes run as much as $70 and nobody was bitching then plus the price raise will only last as long as it takes devolpers to figure out how the consoles work the price will drop again soon

To me, the first XBOX is better than the PS2. PS2 was annoying because you had to buy memory for it. that also made it more expensive. Also on the XBOX you could save your own music to the harddrive as wave files. XBOX also had online options allowing you to play vs, you know, from 1-50 players. fun. XBOX had better grraphics and better sound quality. XBOX's games were more often rated higher too. And it seems a bit more durable and was sold for the same price.

I'd be willing to buy a 360. $400 is not a bad price for that system but I won't pay it. i'll wait and get a used one.

xobox had some pluse's for me the hard drive being the min one but graphics mean nothing to me if it doenst have gameplay and sound means nothing to me because well i only have a mono tv (something that i cant hold aganist the system itself though) other then halo(which im not a fan of but will give credit to) and ninja gaiden most of the xbox games that got good reviews had graphics that the ps2 could handle it was very rare that a xbox exclusive got that great of a review its a okay console but not anything i spent much money on(i didnt pay for mine and got it just to have all 3 consoles)

Actually isn't there a $299 version of the new xbox that comes without the hard drive?

I have no idea what the best console will be but as for the last round, I definately pick the Xbox above the others. Halo was excellent, Halo 2 was supposedly better yet. But Winning Eleven 8 finally came to xbox last year which rendered the ps2 obselete in my book. Plus I though Superman: Man of Steel (xbox exclusive) was better than Superman: Shadow of Apokalypse (gamecube and ps2). Especially when you could go into the Phantom Zone.

I also like the xbox "s" controller because my hands are big and the ps2 controller made me sore!

I think a lot of people got hung up on Halo simply because it was the first game for XBOX...and don't get me wrong, it's a great game but there are a lot of great games for XBOX. I think there are better ones than Halo.

I love halo, look at my top ten videogames list, I have it at number 3. I don't usually like FPS's either, but Halo was excellent.

There is a new game coming for the Xbox 360 named Saints Row or something like that, it is supposed to be way better than Grand Theft Auto, we'll have to see.

If I do get a Xbox 360 on the first day it is released (I won't pay $400) then I will get FIFA 2006, which is a launch title as well as NBA 2k6 (and I will make sure the Pistons beat the Spurs this time) and maybe an action game of some sort.

If the xbox really is $400 then I will just wait and see the price of the PS3 and Nintendo Revolution and maybe get one of them instead. I've heard the Nintendo Revolution will be inexpensive.

All I'm saying is there seemed to be a tun of games as great as Halo, for XBOX. Really, I prefer single player adventure games.

I've seen previews of FIFA 2k6, It looks really good. I've been wanting to give that a try. Maybe it'll be one of my first titles for the new system.

I was thinking of waiting a year to a year and a half after the release of these new systems to buy one and then get one used. I've no problems with the XBOX that I have now.

I only have two games at the moment.

Rugby 2005 and Chessmaster.

I'll get one...I'm not sure which one yet...probably the 360.

I had a PS2...it was alright. About all I play is NFS (all of them), Midnight Club, Gran Turismo (all of them), GTA (all of them) and Test Drive (all of them). I prefer to play them on Froyn's X-Box though, so that's why I'm thinking I'll get a 360.

I think I might get a ps3, a co worker brought up a good point about the xbox....any game that is released on the xbox, is also released on pc....go figure. Plus the PS3 is gonna be alot better hardware wise.

X-Box all the way but I'm going to let the fools make the first couple of batches explode before I get one, usually bug fixes also coincide with price drops .

It's like saying "We're sorry here buy a better one cheaper."
