wormsinwombs
Since they're not nearly as well known today and their concert tics go for half the price of any other 80s stalwart pixies/bauhaus/DM I'll have to say Front 242 great industrial dance there are a zillion goth dance groups mentioned all over the DGN music forum that owe a BIG debt to these guys <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I really don't think Front 242 is underated. Saephyr
My thoughts would be: Rammstein Genetorturers Enigma Godflesh yes they sell but do people ever get the chance to hear the stuff that gets NO radio play? HFCC radio is awesome for playing some great and unusual bands.

Fierce Critter
Ahhh... I love Smithereens. Well, at least the first album... I had a friend who was an absolute FREAK for them in the early 90's. I was always under the impression that Devo got a lot of cred. Mark Mothersbaugh does such great instrumental/movie/tv music now. Have to pick up the soundtrack to Life Aquatic sometime.

EatAjaxAndDie
what about Y&T (or Yesterday and Today?) Anyone remember them other than me? The best part is I was young during thier heyday lol. They had a really distinctive 80's metal sound, but it wasn't hair metal.
Saephyr
Yeah that's right...it did wow I was almost smart there. MORPHINE....I don't think the Sandman was ever given enough props and they only gave radio time to the 1 damned song when they had so many kick ass tunes to offer. 3 guys in a band used to be kinda odd...especially one that played a bass with only 3 strings right? I just LOVE that sound.
