yeah i have to say i am quite surprised by the beatles. i have known people who don't like the beatles though.

even if you are not a fan i find it hard to believe you can't even find one song by them to be good. at least lyrically if nothing else.

their psychedelic years bore great stuff, and they had at least 3 great singers in the band and did not overplay.

and in reality they really paved the way in regards to stretching available technology and wild sylistic experiemntation in the studio... paved the way for Jimmy Page....paved the way for anything in modern rock and alternative really.

i agree. i love the beatles. they are one of the first bands i really liked as a kid. though i don't like the "older" beatles as much as i like the "newer" beatles. though i do like some random songs from their early years for sure.
