What happened to goth night on Thursdays?

Necto is awesome. Switch at Clutch Cargo's is awesome. Never been to Luna or Mephistos...although I want to go it's really hard for me to get out on weekdays now.

Diesel sounds interesting though.....

Clutch Cargos/SWITCH/I-Lounge are all in a former church near the corner of M-59 and Woodward (Widetrack) in downtown Pontiac. There were hardly more then 25 people last night... But the tunes were good as was the company. (A bunch of SG peeps)

Mephistos hasn't really done it for me... and still need to do Diesel on a "regular" night.

Am I to understand that right now, goth night on Friday at Diesel is just a once-a-month thing?

If so, any chance of it becoming every Friday?

The Friday gig will depend on attendence probably. My impression so far is that if I can bring people in and the night picks up enough, I will get more time spinning for people. Its all about making money for the managers you know. Suzette is very cool and friendly. She really wants to build a strong goth/industrial night at the club it seems. We will meet Wednesday to plan it out. As for me spinning, I tend to focus on people's requests as much as possible. To me, I focus on people dancing or creating an atmosphere. It's not about beat matching or anything to that effect. The more feedback I get on music, the more I will focus on the night. I have a lot of resources for getting music and will bring old and new stuff to the table to spin. New stuff will be thrown in sporadically but I want people to feel comfortable dancing.

SIN is going on at Diesel this Saturday. I have never attended a SIN event, but it sounds like it will be fun. I guess it is a fetish show of sorts and sounds like it will be nice and dirty. All the info is in the Metro Times. It sounds like they will be playing some pretty cool music too....I hope anyways.
