$100 dollars is a bit much for some people, who honestly dont have two sticks to rub together themselves.

donations are volontary, if people dont give, its thier buisness not anyone elses.

what people need to remember is that this just isnt for thye next 2 months, may need aid for the next 5-10 years to properly rebuild.

and tbh, i dont think people over here would have noticed if it hadnt been for tourists out there.

people certinaly turned a blind eye to the child dtraficing thats gone on there untill it was discovered a white child was for sale

Black Sunday, while the US is at it we should just give our whole paycheck up every week to cure the world of all of its evils. We as Americans should be striving to end all world ails. We can start with supporting underprivilidged terrorist groups and work our way up to Americanizing the planet.

I thought I had read that the USA supplied 70% of all UN funding. I could be wrong.

More to the point. It is a wild held belief that all countrys should give 1% of their GNP to aid. We give 3 times as much as anyone else but that still amounts to about .5% of our GNP. Thats where people get theat we are stingy.

I just wish the us would look to our own people first and stop trying to take over other countries. We have people starving and homeless here. From personal experience it's near impossible to get aid for illness... I wouldn't have even had the procedure to save me done if I hadn't had health insurance... how sick is that? We are the richest country yet we have people deal with illness and die when it could be easily cured because they don't have a million dollars, or health insurance. I'm also in financial debt for the rest of my life because the little aid I did get won't cover but three months back of my health care.

god I hate this country

Well, toss a few illegal immagrents back across the border then. Last I checked.. Californiass health system was being over run by illegal immagrents who dont pay thier bills. There are whole hospitals being shut down in Cali due to this problem... and left wing liberals wont let us enforce our borders... but it's the country you hate.. not the real problem. that makes sense.

If it were up to me.. there would be no such thing as insurance. That will never happen though.. noone wants to be responsible for their own actions. Ofcourse... 99% of law suits would never be allowed either. We would enforce our borders and most of the aid we give other countrys would stop.

If the U.S. health care system, which I agree is flawed, is a major concern to you and you "hate this country" the why don't you live in Canada?  I am asking as a legit question.  The health care in Canada is free.

I am sorry about your situtation.  However it isn't very difficult to obtain insurance in the U.S., at least in my opinion.  You can get it thru Mcdonalds.  Or you can go to a fre clinic or get medicaid.

You would have had your surgery regardless of your insurance though, by law a doctor HAS to operate on you if it is life threatening.

But yes the insurance companies are greedy and are hurting the system.  Remember, there are some major flaws with "free health care" as well, if you look at some of the problems in Canada and in Europe.

If I had $6000 -or was it 10? I would move to Canada and become a citizen.... it's a little more difficult to get over "their" border. You actually have to pay and show you will be a productive member... unlike us.

_My health insurance_ only covered less than half of what I went through at the begining of the year.

I had a bone marrow transplant... it's a month plus hospital stay if I _did not_ have insurance I would not have been able to have the procedure.. many people can not have chemo due to the cost and no help.... really _I_ have been through this and have seen many other people on cancer groups complain about this. It's not like you can walk into an oncologists office and demend treatment.

and believe me medicade is a little harder to get then you think... I only got it because it is my second time around... I had no help the first time. not to mention how they ran me around in circles.... sit... beg... roll over...

who is in a very bad mood tonight
