unchaste
Not sure if this is the right forum for this, but I figure with Phee going on vacation in Marseille and rayne having a weird fetish for spoken french, here's a little sample of what 4 years of French class taught me. Of course: Bonjour: Hello Au revoir: Goodbye Merci: Thank You S'il vous plait: Please Je vous en prie: You're welcome Je suis de Detroit: I'm from Detroit J'ai besion de faire pipi: I have to pee. Questions: Ou est le toilette/restaurant/hotel?: Where is the bathroom/restaurant/hotel? Quelle heure est-il?: What time is it? Que faites-vous comme metier?: What do you do for a living? Pourquoi est-ce que to me deteste?: Why do you hate me? Porquoi est-ce que vous sentez comme le poisson?: Why do you smell like fish? Commands: Donne-moi un sandwich et une biere.: Give me a sandwich and a beer. Maintenant: Now. Arretez!: Stop! Compliments: Je t'aime: I love you Tu est belle/beau: You are beautiful/handsome. Tu ne sente pas comme le poisson: You don't smell like fish. This is all that I can think of off the top of my head, but if you want to learn how to say another word/phrase, just ask. VyRiZ
the only thing i remember when i took french was when i said "i feel like a dirty american" when the class got quiet for that few seconds and we had a visitor from france and when i did a skit from Half Bake when Bryan does that scene after they just smoked and he gives off that huge list of food.. you all know the scene... try memorizing that all in french... it was well worth the A+.. i think my teach loved the stoned french guy acting... lmao
