GuyverIV shared an interesting Irish belief with me this weekend at City Club, so I am in turn sharing it with all of you.

Members of everyone's favorite alcoholic nationality believe that throughout your life, all of the alcohol that you spill is collected in a barrel. When you die, your soul is placed upside down in said barrel. If your soul drowns in the alcohol, guess what? You're taking a trip in a handbasket.

So.....do you think your soul is going to drown, or do you get a set of wings & a halo?

Oh, I'm VERY Irish. It's a sin to spill any alcohol. When I managed a night club out in Colorado a couple of years ago, I was the cleanest bartender there, and oddly enough pretty fast too. I even bar flair which is another place where spilling is a sin (or at least a penalty if you compete). Needless to say, I'm definitely going to heaven.
