Taking Back The Club

She might have been all of 21, if that, and going on about how she's been going since she was 16, and how the place has always been disgusting, and how there was a fetus on the floor in the center stall and it stayed there for 6 weeks.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Did she give a description of the fetus? I only ask because I have one missing from my collection and the last place I remember seeing it was at city club. I'd forget my head if it wasn't attached.

ROFLMAO

(And just to clarify, I wasn't offended by what Zhuk said. Some people do need to grow up a little, and some of them do go to CC. I can think of at least one person who I'd like to see mature a little. Keep going to the club and dress the part all you want, dude. Just stop pushing your 45+ year-old-ass on the barely legals there, 'cause you're not cool - just really sad.) (he's not a DGN member)

I don't have a problem if you don't dress all black. I have a problem if you look like a bloody wigger! If you have on all white, but it is artistic I can respect that. Wear uniforms to the club, thats awesome, I have friends that do that. Some clothing at CC I find offensive, but then again I find wearing blue jeans to the club- any club- offensive. I'm wierd like that. The kid I slapped on Friday, deserved it, he needed to learn respect and after he watched me really bitch-slap someone else he realized it was just to get his attention, not to offend. I don't blame any lady who chooses not to go topless there anymore, because norms wouldn't understand. Let's just hope disrespectful newbies don't try to hit on me...... I have yelled at them for it before.

Heh, I've heard some people call some of you poser goths.

I pose as myself and I am who I'm gonna be irregardless. I'm not in it for the fashion or the popularity factor, or to be different or shock people.

The only thing different that I see is three years ago the music was better in the scene.

I started as one of those 'goth kids' that you took under your wing. Hung out up on the stage with the "original" crowd.

Then I was one of those raver kids you all couldn't stand. Glow sticks. blinky lights. Hoping around.

Then I was one of those average looking people who showed up wearing jeans and t-shirts.

Then I was one of those bullies, well not really but if you touched me you got punched in the face and I got thrown out.

I was a glam goth. Oooo Shiny!

Hell i've been going there for about 6 or 7 years. Yup that would mean I was underage when i started going there.

Its funny how no one realized I was the same person over and over again.

Its amazing what hairstyles can do for you.

Point is. Most people going there are just trying to find a place to fit in. Or even just to go and enjoy themselves.

You can't take back what was never yours.

I'm friends with alot of you now. Just think. I used and sometimes still am the type of person you are all trying to keep out.

MAN do I feel like a 'babybat' myself compared to a lot of you who've been going to CC for so long.

I've only been going since Late March of 2004. ;_;

Anywho, I dont really dress the part anymore either, honestly. Mainly just the pants and the collar and the make-up. My shirts are tank-tops with no designs on them.

That's besides the point.

I've always known CC to be a "Goth" club, when i first heard of it, it was from my sister. She said it was a Goth Club, so I've always known it as a Goth Club. So when I see jeans, baseball caps and Slipknot style make-up, I frown.

Could be because I dont like Slipknot.

But in all honesty, I dont mind who goes there, just as long as they show respect to those who are trying to be original or stick with how they feel the place should be. Dont pick on my style of dress and I wont harass you over how much I hate your music. (( alright, I like "Vermillion" and "Duality"..... <<; ))

I spent enough time last summer telling my own mother how much "Goth" didnt mean "Evil". Spikes dont mean death, they're just an accent. I cant begin to tell you how many times she told me I looked like hell.

Um, hello? Is there anything in there besides air? I'm trying to discover myself here. GIMME MAH SPAAAAAACCE!!

Now I get compliments over a new pair of pants..... from the same person.

I'm not "Gothic" as some people would narrow-mindedly label.... I'm me, Farril, Tara. ME. If a person doesnt like my version of originality, they can rant about it when I cant hear it.

I dont know much of the 'old crowd' so, like I said, I feel quite like a newbie compared to the rest of you.

But you all are pretty cool, so the newbie-feeling goes bye-bye pretty quick. =3

I just think it would be nice to have a place where only true goths like me and Dario Argento could go. Actually Dario and I would be the only two people welcomed to city club if it were up to me. We are the only real goths anyway, everyone else is just a poser. Oh and maybe the Undertaker from the WWE would be welcome too but not his lame ass brother Kane. Oh and we're gonna need some chicks so maybe Elvira could come. But the bottom line is that I am sick of poser non goths and I don't want to see them at MY club.

My moms a ninja.

She flips out. Alot. Would probably kill people if it was legal.

Does that make her goth?

My sister hates the world. Dresses like a cheerleader though... does that make her goth?

My ex used to paint her nails black. She liked Metallica. Does that make her goth?

OMG????!!!!one111eleven!!!!! Is there a rule against new people going to CC?

Does that mean none of you can bring your annoying newbies?

OMG! what happens when we all die, cause we're goth and all. No one will go to the club anymore.

Cause we'll be dead.

Don't like the newbs. Don't go to the club.

Don't like the posers. Don't go to the club.

Don't like the non goths. Don't go to the club.

Want it to be exactly how you want it?

Make your own club. Invite only.

The first time i went to CC was 3-4 years ago. HeadlessGoth brought me telling me it was his favorite place and that I would totally be at home there. I couldnt believe how right he was. those first few times i was there i just sat on the side and watched the people, listened to everything that was going on around me and felt incredibly comforatable. i smiled all night and remember thinking 'this is what ive been missing' seeing beautiful people going around having a good time in a great place.

ive never been a regular. ill go for 2-3 weekends in a row and then not be there for one or two months (work and money interferes usually) but i love it when i can go. ive talked to some amazing people. ive sat in silence for hours and just enjoyed being there. ive also seen people start fights. cause drama. just be complete asses. Ive run into people there that i *hate*, these people were told by a friend of theirs (wrongly) that she was living with me, so they broke into my house looking for her when i was at work, they only go to CC to push pills, thats all they do. But even *I* knew better than to stand in the middle of the club and start a fight. I dont get why other people dont understand that.

I dont know if im 'goth' enough to fit into conventional definitions. im not the most social person so i dont know everyone there, i spend a lot of time just quietly walking or sitting and enjoying being there. but i do know ive found CC to be a place i love and i hate to see stupid people ruin it for everyone. Well, thanks for listening to my rant...

I'm not really goth...never have been actually....apparently I forget to check with goth fashion police everytime I go there. I go there to have a good time and I don't care about fitting in with anyones BS scene....goth or whatevah the fuck it is.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

I don't care what anyone says. No one rocks the man-skirt like Daevion! :grin
