This Thanksgiving is gonna be special. My brother is gonna be visiting from South Carolina!

On Thanksgiving I am going to stop at my inlaws for a visit with my husband and then head over to my stepsister's for a late lunch wiht my parents and brother. My husband has to work that night and is working abunch of extra time this week so on Friday he will not be heading up north with my brother and I to stay at my parents house for the weekend and get drunk and eat!!

Laura and I have some very close freinds coming in from California to have thanksgiving with us. So its eat, eat some more, convince them to move to Michigan, eat some more, drink, drink some more, smoke some cigarettes, promise Laura I'm quitting, eat some more, find somone to pull my finger.

then make a turkey sandwich. And hopefully "a christmas story" will be on TV.

I will be riding around the beautiful Iraq country side trying not to blow up a week befor I go home. I just love my command. They want us to haul broken equipment half way across the country to take it to a junk yard, you know one of those important missions. I have to litteraly put my life on the line for junk.

What's not to be thankful for.

Well, you'll be in my thoughts (and I'm sure everyone else's here) as you do it. Keep yourself safe over there.

Shawn & I will be splitting the day between our two families.

Crap, I don't want him to have to meet my family.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

And my family is any better? Mine are super neurotic. I'm not worried about meeting your family anyways.

and Odims_Sphere and the rest of our men and women in the armed forces, keep yourself safe. Have a happy holiday, you are in everyones thoughts.

My turducken can kick your tofurkey's ass.

I'll be stuffing my face as I continue my gluttonous rise to my "winter weight."  Then I will probably play board games with the fam.

Wishing to GOD and anything else every worshiped that the holidays didn't exist so I didn't have to dribe to %*^*$))_ BFE to do the family thing. I love my family. I just HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE the holidays. That paid day off from work wold be better spent sleeping, doing laundry, playing WoW, well.. doing almost anything but driving 2+ hours to eat a fattening meal with people who will harp on me about everything.

With family (Cousins, uncles, aunts, grandma, etc) in Montreal. Not celebrating Thanksgiving exactly, since Canadians have theirs in October... it was the best weekend to go and see everyone (Who I haven't seen in a couple years) and take the girls with me so they could meet a lot of the family that they haven't yet.

Yeah man, I'll be at Marc's party so I will be there to help welcome you back.

As for mine, not really anything going on. My family is kind of separated with their own problems. My mom and her fiance are going down to Cincinatti to be with his family. We used to have huge family gatherings at either the grandparents or the uncle and aunts house. Be there all day and night and play Uno as a family classic each holiday. Sadly though, everyone has moved far away and the is distant since my mom and step dad divorced.

I'd be up for a meet up for doing whatever.
